My Life in Weather Forecasting: A Career of Highs and LowsOver 35 years as an Environment Canada meteorologist has provided Geoff with a wealth of experience with the last years of his career dedicated as a Warning Preparedness Meteorologist (WPM). His time as a WPM has allowed him to travel extensively across the province and make contact with a variety of clients including emergency managers/responders, provincial/municipal/county staff and the media, Geoff will also provide a series of lessons-learned from providing thousands of media interviews and presentations, attending hundreds of workshops and conferences, doing dozens of post-storm surveys and emergency exercises, growing the volunteer storm spotter program and fostering the next generation of weather forecasters.
