place during the HIMSS annual conference being held this year in one of

the most exciting cities in the USA — Chicago, Illinois. The Nordic eHealth

Exchange is a unique programme designed exclusively for healthcare IT

professionals from both the public and private sectors in Denmark, Finland,

Iceland, Norway and Sweden. As part of the Nordic eHealth Exchange,

HIMSS Europe organises a programme exclusively tailored to the needs

Today, Sarah serves as the CIO for NCH Community Health System inNaples, FL. NCH is a non-for-profit, multi-facility healthcare system inNaples, Florida. NCH Downtown Naples Hospital and NCH North NaplesHospital provide personalized care for over 30,000 patients a year intheir two-hospital, 715 bed system. NCH’s outstanding reputation isconfirmed by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of HealthcareOrganizations (JCAHO), in its award of accreditation to both NCHhospitals and the 35 clinic offices providing outpatient services to thesurrounding counties.

Prior to NCH,Ms. Thoman comes to Naples from Cleveland, Ohio where she hasserved in progressive nursing leadership positions including ChiefNursing Officer at Lakewood Hospital, a Cleveland Clinic hospital andNurse Manager at the Cleveland Clinic. Ms. Thoman received her diplomain nursing from St. Thomas Hospital School of Nursing, Akron, OH(1990), her Bachelor of Science nursing degree from The University ofAkron, Akron, OH (2000), and her Master of Business Administration,Healthcare Executive from Baldwin Wallace College, Berea, OH (2002).
