Section 1. Introduction
This resource guide provides employees with information required to logon, navigate and exit the online training system. Please be sure to read through the resource guide prior to signing into the online training.

Section 2. Accessing the Online Training
1. You can access the online training by visiting the Staff section of the Brain Injury
Services website and selecting the tab on the left side titled “Online Staff
Training”.
2. Once you are on the Online Training page you will see a clickable web link. Clicking on
this will redirect you to the webpage for logging into the online training system.

3. Login with your brain injury services email address OR if you don’t have an active
email please use the first initial of your first name and your full last name
@bis.com. (For example: your name is Sally Smith, your email address for
logging in would be [email protected])
4. An initial password has been set for all employees to login to the system for the first time. Your initial password will be the word Staff (with a capital S) followed by your employee number (Staff123)
Note: This password should be changed immediately to a new password
5. You can change your password once you are logged into the system by clicking on the icon in the top right hand corner.

6. A dropdown menu will appear once you click on the icon.
7. Select My Profile.
8. Enter your current password, then enter your new password and then confirm it. Click on Save once you have finished.
Note: Your new password must have a minimum of six characters with at least one uppercase letter and one number.
Please ensure that you use a password that you will remember as you will need it in the future to login to the system; however, should you forget it, please contact the human resources department for assistance.

Section 3. Understanding the Dashboard
Once you have successfully logged into the training system you will be taken to your
active dashboard.
1. Along the top of the page you will see 3 tabs; To Do, Optional and Completed. In brackets after each tab title you will see the number of trainings in each folder. In the example bellow, To Do (3), means there are three trainings that need to be completed.
2. The Status column indicates if you have already started a training and the percentage viewed.
3. To restart a training in progress click the Launch button. A message will appear and ask you if you wish to continue where you left off.
Yes - takes you to the last slide viewed
No – takes you to the start of the training

4. Once each training is successfully completed the contents will be moved to the Completed tab after the page is refreshed.
5. Once you complete a training module, your score will be displayed in the status column.

Section 4. Launching your Training Module
1. Choose the training you would like to complete and click on the Launch button.
2. A new window will open to the first slide of the training.
3. To start the training click on the play button.
Note: Slides are timed and will only advance to the next slide after the time has passed.
If time runs out before you are finished reading the slide you can click the “PREV” button to return to the previous slide.

Section 5. Logging out of the Online Training
1. To logout of the system click on the icon in the top right hand corner and select Logout from the dropdown menu.
Ensure that you log out of the system to safeguard your information.

Section 6. Password Management
The Forgot your password option will only work if you have an active Brain Injury Services email address.
For employees that have an @bis.com login you will need to contact the human recourses department in order to reset your password.

If you are having trouble accessing the Online Training, please contact the human

Feedback
If you wish to give feedback about a training or notice
anything that needs to be brought to the developer’s
attention you can send a message by clicking on the
icon and selecting Feedback.
A box will appear for you to type your message in.
Once you have composed your message click the
Send Feedback button and you message will be sent.
