Job Description/Responsibilities: The basic objective of the role of Strategy and

Development Professional is to ensure the development of programmes in BRAC

international across Asia and Africa and ensure learning is documented and shared. •

Write concept notes and proposals and other reports related with youth participation/

empowerment/ rights, health, education, poverty/ livelihoods, agriculture/ livestock

and microfinance for BRAC International programmes. • Research and gather

information on country situation and become familiar with the requirements and

guidelines of various funders. • Coordinate and follow up with various departments

and country programmers to gather technical inputs and prepare clear written outputs

for use in concept notes, proposals, reports and presentations. • Support budget

preparation for concept notes and other reports. • Draft strategic communication

Educational Requirements: The incumbent should have Master’s degree in related

field from any reputed university. No 3rd class/ division/ below CGPA 2.00 in all

academic records.

Experience Requirements: Applicant should have at least five (05) years’ relevant

work experience in one or more of the following areas in a reputable national or

international development organization, youth participation/ empowerment/ rights,

health, education, poverty/ livelihoods, agriculture/ livestock and microfinance. • At

least two (02) years’ experience in both primary and secondary in qualitative and

quantitative research.

Additional Job Requirements: Fluency in spoken both Bangla and English.•

Excellent English writing skills.• Very good skills using information and

communication technology. • Excellent skills in coordinating with different

departments in Bangladesh and other countries. • Willing to travel both within and

outside Bangladesh.
