Anonymity on the web is hard to achieve when you have a digital presenceAccounts that I had created and forgotten had appeared, posts that I have written in the past, photos of meAs much as I can google myself, as can anyone else! So digital management is necessary

What have I learnt?

Everyone has multiple identities on the web!I have different identities for different aspects of my life – if you were to stumble across my blog, you would see my academic identity, this is different to the identity portrayed if you were to find my FacebookI have learnt that I, as well as everyone else, am very much searchable. Therefore I must manage my online presence carefully, to portray myself in a way that I want to be portrayed.
