If your project is within a red polygon, contact the Service
If not, you can go ahead and fill out the Conclusions Column for NLEB
Step 7- NLEB
For Non-Federal actions within a red HUC, fill out the conclusion column to indicate that a documented maternity roost or hibernacula may be in the Action Area.
If NLEB is the only species on your official species list, then you do not need to contact the Service.
If you have other species on your list, write “suitable habitat present” in your conclusions column.

Create IPAC Login ID and PasswordRequest a species list
3. North Carolina Natural Heritage Program (NCNHP)https://ncnhde.natureserve.org/Contact them for training and access
5. Skip step 4 if in Step 2 IPaC says there are no resources in the action area,
or if NHP data indicated that all species listed are present.
5. Proposed actions that don’t include tree clearing,skip step 7 for NLEB.
