Admission Procedure:

a)Admission from attached with this information brochure should be filled up and submitted along with supporting documents and fees in the form of Demand Draft(DD).

b)Upon satisfying all admission and eligibility requirements ,the identity card, self learning material ,books along with registration letter are dispatched within 35 working days from the date of enrollment.

c)Enclosures with application Form

1.Four stamp size photographs

2.Photocopy of Qualifying or Equivalent Marks cards(Attested)

3.Experience Certificate ,If employed.

4.Photo ID Proof such as PAN Card ,Driving License ,Passport or etc.

5.Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favor of National Institute of Planning Management ,payable

at Kolkata .

Examinations:

A)Flexible examination are conducted two times in a year.

B) Examination contains objective/short question type and passing mark above 40 out 100.

C)Students can appear for the exam from any of KSOU designated exam centers.

D)Examination enrollment form need to be filled up and send along with the examination fees at the time of examination.

E)There is no negative marking.

F)Examination dates would be declared within 45 days before the exam.

Assignments:

Assignments are an integral component of distance education .Assignments serve the purpose of evaluation of the candidate’s comprehension .The counselors evaluate these assignments and also provide feedback on the candidate’s performance .A copy of the evaluated assignment will be shown to the candidates by the coordinator as a part of learning activity.

Project Report:

The candidates prepare a project report as a part of the curriculum requirement of PG and UG course and submit the same during the respective final semesters for evaluation and assessment.

The Grade System:

For each semester ,Grade system as given in the table below is adopted for declaration of results.

In addition to grade System ,marks obtained in each paper shall be announced , For the award of class for the bachelor’s degree courses, the cumulative performance of the candidate in the last 4-semesters(3rd,4th,5th and 6th) will be considered ,For the award of class for the Master degree courses, the cumulative performance of the candidates in 2 semesters will be considered.
