Registering for Online Color Navigate to Online Color for either Nexa Autocolor brand or PPG North America and click the “New Registration” button.

New user – I know my CTS number

Enter in your First Name, Last Name, and Email then click the ‘Next’ button.

Create a password that will be used to log in to the Online Color/COLORMOBILE® applications. Your password will need to adhere to the password complexity guidelines. If the password entered does not follow the complexity guidelines, you will be shown an error. Click ‘Next’

Click “Yes” for “Do you know your CTS Number?”

Enter your CTS number and the zip code associated with the account then click ‘Next’

Validate the company and distributor information is correct. If they are correct, click ‘Next’. If they are incorrect, click ‘This is not my CTS record.” If the information returned is not your CTS record, you will need to manually enter your company and distributor information.

Depending on the country of your company, you will be shown the brands you are able to register for. Select one or many of the brands you would like to have access to in the Online Color/ColorMobile applications. Then click the ‘Submit Registration’ button.

Once you have submitted your registration, a confirmation screen will display. Your registration will need to be approved by a Customer Service Rep before you can access the Online Color/ColorMobile applications.

Enter in your First Name, Last Name, and Email then click the ‘Next’ button.

Click “No” for “Do you know your CTS Number?”

Since you do not know your CTS number, you will be required to enter your company information and distributor information manually. Complete all fields then click ‘Next’

Since you are already an existing Online Color/ColorMobile application user with a valid CTS number, you will be shown the brands you are able to register for. Select the brand you would like to have access to in the application then click ‘Submit Registration’.

Since you are PPG employee, your CTS number will be automatically associated with your account. Fill out the required fields and click ‘Next’

Forgot Password If you forgot your password, you can request a new one. Enter your email address in the Email box and click the button “Request New Password”. Your new password will be emailed to you.

Change Password To change your password, click on ‘Preferences’ in the side menu and then click ‘My Details’.

Managing User Preferences Click on ‘Preferences’ in the side menu to view your defaults. The Preference section of Online Color is where you can change the default settings for the following items:

Unit of Weight – Grams or Parts

Unit of Measure – Ounces, Pints, Quarts, Gallons, Liters

Source Type – Motor Manufacturers, Fleet, Motorcycles, etc.

Manufacturer – Chrysler, Toyota, etc.

Year

Selected Paint Systems – Paint systems you want to view

o To add to your list of Selected Paint Systems, select the desired Paint System from the list of Available Paint Systems and click the > button.

o To remove a Paint System from your list of Selected Paint Systems, select the desired Paint System and click the < button.

Change any of the preferences and click the “Save” button. If you do not want to save changes you made, click the “Cancel” button.

Standard Search

Search Criteria

Source Type drop down list o Fleet – local fleet colors. Use the ‘Refine’ box to search on specific fleet colors o Layers – undercoat layer information (G2, G3, G4, G5, G6, G7) o Light Commercial Vehicle Manufacturers – check the list for available vehicle colors in North America

o Motorcycles – Popular motorcycle colors are available o Paint Manufacturers – specialty colors are listed such as DELFLEET Color Selectors, Brite & Bold, and

LUMINESCENCE II Motor Manufacturer Search

1. Enter OEM or Brand code in the ‘OEM Color Code/Brand Code’ field 2. Select a Manufacturer 3. Click Search

Undercoat Layer Search

1. Change the Source Type to Layer 2. Enter the undercoat layer number 3. Click ‘Search’

Fleet Color Search

1. Change Source Type to Fleet 2. The refine box will display. Enter the first few characters of the fleet company to search on. Press the ‘Go’

button 3. Select the Fleet company 4. Click ‘Search’

Notes about Fleet Color Search:

Freightliner or Western Star – combination codes were created to provide matches to a metallic chassis standard that has the same OEM code as the pearl containing basecoat for the main body

o Note the quality and OE on truck. HST is single stage. HSB is basecoat. o Enter the PPG six-digit number under OEM/Manufacturer Code o The quality indicates pearl containing colors. Pearl colors are only in basecoat. Therefore HST formulas

will not contain pearl. o If a direct gloss formula is available for a pearl color, it will be shown under the additional brand code

listed. o Example – Search on the PPG brand code 910549. There will be two formulas to select from: 910549

(pearl) and 910744 (metallic). o In rare cases, the truck may be painted with the metallic ‘chassis’ version on the body. The paint code

will be listed with the HST prefix, indicating a single stage formula without pearl. In this case, the truck should be repaired with the metallic ‘chassis’ formula.

Show All Specials button o Displays all Specials that are available with or without the model and year information

Show Specials with Vehicle Details o Only displays Specials with model and year information

X Factor o Specials will have an X plus a number to help distinguish between formulas with the same variant

descriptor

Agreed Variants o Most Variant formulas are chipped for color decks and will display the deck and chip location under

“Additional Information”

Specials o Custom formulas matched to a vehicle in the field

Notes about View Formula:

A “Limited use toner” warning will appear for colors that use specialty products. These toners are used in a restricted number of formulas.

To print on 8.5” X 11” paper, press the print button

To print a Dymo label, press the label button

Competitor Search Select Competitor Search from the left navigation bar

1. Enter competitor code in the Competitor Code text box 2. Click ‘Search’
