Online Account Opening
Online Account Opening
Online Account Opening is a system which lets users create a new account online, at home or
anywhere the user is at. It is easy to use and the only necessity is to have a connection to the
internet.
Product Selection
Online Account Opening greets the user with a product selection page where all the products listed
by the bank are displayed with their respective names.
After the user has decided on a product, for example:-
and an account s/he wants, click on
to open an account for the respective product. Click on to find more description about the
product.
Users can press button to go back to product selection page.
Users can Press button to open an account for the respective product.
You can also find a “Search Me” on top right of the page: -
In this section users can enter his/her Customer ID (shown at the end of account opening) or Email
Address or Mobile Number which lets users to continue their online account opening process
where they left off or to view account opening form for existing customer which are already fill up.
Customer Registration
After an user clicks the following page opens up :-
Before opening an account, the system asks user if they already have an existing saving account in
Nabil or not.
If user chooses “Yes” then the user will not be able to open an account according to NRB and the
following message is shown: -
If user chooses “No” then below registration page for Online account opening page is shown.
Here, the user needs to enter his/her specific details as mentioned such as
• Customer Name: Full Name of the user.
• Date of Birth: Date of Birth of the user (Date in A.D.)
• Email Address: Personal valid Email address of the user. Reminder that the user gets OTP in
this very Email Address.
• Mobile Number: User’s personal/primary valid Mobile number which can be accessible at
any time. Reminder that the user gets OTP in this very Phone Number.
• Male or Female: Gender of the user.
After entering the specified details click on check box
Terms & Conditions Message box is open.
After Reading Terms & Conditions click on
.Proceeding after this step, the system sends an OTP (unique set of numbers). The sent OTP
will be received in the Email Address entered by the user while registration. It needs to be
entered as follows: -
If by any case the user didn’t receive the OTP or maybe the time of OTP has expired, the user
can click on to send OTP again.
Enter the OTP as shown and click on to proceed further.
Users should enter valid unique Email Address or Mobile number. If the entered record (Email
Address/Mobile Number) already exists in the system it will not allow users to open the account.
Below alert notification is shown.
Then comes the main process of entering specific/necessary details required to open an
account successfully. The user is sent to below page in which the user needs to enter Customer
Details information: -
The user is meant to enter all the specified fields in this page to provide as much details as
possible for the bank approval and for the ease of opening an account online.
• Customer Details
Personal Details
Here, the user needs to enter his/her Personal details mentioned such as
• Nationality: Nationality of the user
• Place of Birth: Birth place of the user
• Mother’s Maiden Name: Mother’s Surname before marriage
• Marital Status: User Marital Status
• Education: Users Education
• Occupation: User occupation
Family Details
User needs to enter his/her Family details mentioned such as
• Father’s Full name
• Mother’s Full name
• Grandfather’s Full name
• Spouse Full name (only required & displayed for Married customer)
• Father In-law Full name (only displayed for Married customer)
Identification Details
User needs to enter his/her Identification details mentioned such as
• Identification type
• Identification Number
• Place of issue
• Issuing Authority
• Date of issue
• Date of Expiry (only required & displayed when Identification Type is selected as Passport)
After entering all above mandatory information users can click on button to visit
next page. The user is sent to Address& Employee which is shown as below: -
• Address & Employment
User need to enter Customer Address and Employment information: -
Residential
• Town/City
• District
• Ward No.
• State
• Address
• Country
Click checkbox “If the Correspondence and permanent address is same as Residential address?” If
Residential address is same then check “Yes” otherwise “No”. If checked “no” then below page is
open, enter the data for correspondence and the Permanent address.
Secondary Contact details
• Secondary Mobile Number
• Residential Landline Number
• Office Landline Number
Employee Details
• Employment type: Salaried, Retired, Self Employed, Unemployed and other
When clicking on check box Salaried, Retired, Self Employed below data needs to be fill up.
• Office Name & address
• Estimated Annual income
For Unemployed user can continue to next page without filling up above Employment Details
field.
For other option, below fields need to be fill up.
User can visit first page to review data by pressing on button or pressing
to visit next page. After pressing button Account &
Declaration page will be opened:-
• Account & Declaration
User need to enter Account & Declaration information: -
Account Services
User can click on three of the services
• Debit cards
• Mobil Banking Service
• Internet Banking Service
Proof of Identification and Address
User can upload PP size photograph by pressing button. While uploading file
field should be less than 1 MB along with jpg/pdf extension.
User can upload his/her documents related to Identification Details from below section by
click on choose file button and While uploading file field should be less than 1 MB along with
jpg/pdf extension.
User can change the package from the package name down and choose the branch dropdown
data
Declaration
In the declaration section below data needs to be fill up
• Purpose of account – Users can choose the data from Purpose of account dropdown
• Source of fund – Users can choose the data from Source of fund dropdown
• Anticipated transaction volume (Annual) - Users can insert related Anticipated
Transaction Details.
Users need to check and uncheck the checkbox for below declaration
Users can review the application by pressing the bottom which shows
the data fill up in the application.
At the below of review page, there is button to return back to application form.
After all the data are filled up and users press button.
Users are greeted with the following page: -
User does need to note the Customer Number, Email Address and Phone Number if anytime the
user needs to access their account opening process again or view profile for submitted application
as mentioned in the previous section. Customer Number is a system generated number which is
unique to every single user who registers for online account opening.
To once again look at all the details entered by the user, click on to display
the customer profile of the user.
