• Steps

1. Afteropening the application on the device, click on the password input box and enter the

defaultpassword:123456toaccesssettingspage.

2. ClickLoginManagementtoenterthelogininterface.Entersamecredentialswhichwereused

on the web page to login.

Note:Youneedtoenterthedevicepasswordbeforeenteringtheloginmanagement,afterlog-gingintotheapplicationsettingsandbeforeexitingtheapplication.Thepasswordcanbesetinthe“Parametersetting”in[Devicemanagement]onthebackstagewebpage.Youcanalsomodifyitinthe“AppPasswordSettings”whichareinterminalapplicationsettings.

• Application managementAftersuccessfullogin,clickthemiddlemousebuttontoopen[Applicationmanagement]in-terface.Thiswilldisplaylogininformation:localname,localIP,connectedserver,currentloginstatus,loginmanagement,applicationsettings,faceentry,applicationsixfunctionsofinforma-tion,passrecordandfacedatabase.

• Login managementAfterloggingin,youcanclick“Signout”tologoutofthecurrentaccount.

1.2. Application SettingsEnterthe[Applicationsettings]page,whichcontainsthefollowingfunctionsettings:

1.2.1. Device name settingBydefault,devicenameissameasitsMACaddress,whichcanbemodifiedmanually.Afterlog-gingin,itwillbesynchronizedtothebackgroundafterchanges.Youcanalsochangethisinthe“devicedetails”inthe[devicemanagement]ofthebackgroundwebpage;

1.2.2. Body Temperature Setting

• Body temperature detection switch1. Controlbodytemperaturedetectionfunction.Youcanchoosetoturnonoroff.Bydefaultit

is on.2. On:During the identificationof personnel traffic, the interfacewill displayandbroadcast

body temperature once recognition is completed.3. Off:Duringtherecognitionofpersonneltraffic,theoutlineofthefaceintheinterfaceisau-

tomaticallyhidden.Theinterfacewillnotdetectbodytemperatureoncerecognitioniscom-pleted.

• Compensation temperature1. Whentheambienttemperaturemayaffectthedetectedbodytemperature,youcansetcom-

pensation temperature to adjust automatically.2. Thecompensationtemperaturevaluedefaultsto0.3,andthesettingrangeisfrom0~1,and

can be set accurately to 1 decimal place. Compensation temperature “compensation +” is enabledbydefault.

Example:ForaCompensationof+0.3degrees,atemperatureof36.1℃duringidentificationwillbecompensatedto36.4℃onthedisplay.

• Alarm thresholdSet an alarm threshold to control body temperature detection. When the body temperature

alarmisenabledandtheidentifiedbodytemperatureexceedsthresholdtemperature,analarmgetstriggered.Thedefaultthresholdissetat37.3℃.Onlytemperaturesbetween30.0℃and45.0℃can be set in the threshold up to one decimal place.

• Body temperature alarm1. Controlbodytemperaturealarmfunction.Youcanenableordisableit.Bydefaultitison.2. On:Whenthedetectedbodytemperatureishigherthanthethreshold,analarmwillbetrig-

geredandthebodytemperaturewillbedisplayed.Ifthebodytemperatureislowerthanthethreshold, there will be no alarm.

3. Off:Bodytemperaturehasnoeffectonthealarm

• Mask detection1. Controlthemaskdetectionfunction.Youcanchoosetoturnonoroffthisfunction.Bydefault

thisisoff.2. On:Recognizewithoutwearingamask.Ifapersonisnotwearingamaskthenbackground

becomes red and access is denied. A message is broadcasted which says, “Please wear a mask”.Thosewhoarewearingamaskcanberecognizednormally.

• Test thresholdItisusedwhencheckingimagesintothelibrary.Thehigherthethresholdsettingis,thelowertheimagerequirementsare.Itneedstobesetreasonably.Thedefaultvalueis17.

• Number of recognitionThenumberoftimestoidentifywhetherapersonisaVIP.Thedefaultvalueis3.

• Living portrait detectionThisfunctionenableslivedetectionwhileidentifyingaperson.Bydefaultthisfunctionisdis-abled, however, the user can enable this anytime.

1.2.4. Volume SettingAfterloggingin,volumesettingsofthesynchronizationservercanbesetlocally.

1.2.5. Start-up Settings

• Auto-startUpon startup, the application will launch automatically

• Application daemonWhentheapplicationislaunched,itwillautomaticallyjumpbacktotheplaybackinterfacewith-in 30s once you exit the page. It will not automatically jump back when the app is closed.

• Application thread guardThecamerawillrestartifitisnotworkingproperly.

1. Youwillhavetoenterthedefaultdevicepasswordbeforeenteringtheloginmanagement,enteringtheapplicationsettingsafterlogin,andexitingtheapplication.Thedefaultpass-wordis123456.

2. Thepasswordcanalsobeset in [EquipmentManagement] “ParameterSettings”on the background web page.

3. Youcanmodifythepasswordbyenteringoriginalpasswordfollowedbyyournewpassword. Confirmthenewpassword,andsaveit.Passwordlengthislimitedto1-6digitsandcan’tbeset as empty.

1.2.9.CameraPreviewResolutionSettingHereyoucansetresolutionofthecameraduringfacerecognition.Thedefaultsettingis1280 * 720.

1.2.10. Screen-saver Brightness Setting• Screen-saver1. Whenthereisnofacerecognitiongoingon,screensaverwillbedisplayed.However,after

recognizingafaceitwillswitchfromscreensavertothehomepage.2. Homepagewillcomeuponstartup,andifnofaceisidentifiedwithin30secondsitwillau-

tomatically switch to screen saver.

• Screen-saver brightness setting Use the slider to adjust brightness accordingly and then save it.

1.2.11. Device Restart Time SettingYoucanscheduleadailyrestarttimeforyourdevice.Thisisa24-hourclocksystem,inputthe time and then save it. Now your device will restart automatically every day on the set time. How-ever,ifyoudonot,you’reyourdevicetorestartautomatically,simplyselectthe“Donotrestart”option and save.

2:Indicatesauto-closemode(lowinputsignalwillmaintainlowoutputlevel,thenhighlevelforXseconds,andfinallylowlevel).Thatis,afteropeningtherelaywillautomaticallycloseaftera

• UpgradefirmwareoftemperaturemoduleThetemperaturehardwarecanbemanuallyupgradedthroughtheapplicationsettings.First,inserttheUSBdiskandthenenterthefirmwareupgrade.Nowselectthehardwarewhichyouwanttoupgrademanually.Aftertheupgrade,newversionnumberwillbedisplayedaccording-ly.ThehardwarefileneedstobeplacedintherootdirectoryoftheUSBdisk,andthefilenamemust be update temp.bin

• Callback settings1. Itincludesturnonandoff.2. Turnon:Theuserneedstoinputacallbackaddresswhichisimplementedaccordingtothe

callbackinterfacedocumentprovidedbyus.3. Turnoff:Thecallbackfunctionisoffandthereisnocallback.

1.3. FacePortraitEntryTheusercanrecordpersonnelinformationoffaceimage,employeeID,name,genderandsave locally.Thisinformationwillbesynchronizedinthebackgroundaftercreatingasuccessfulrecordofit.Afterfacedetection,theimageverificationwillbeperformedandtheverificationresultwillbe displayed.

1.4. PersonnelImportinBulkIn addition to a single-entry method, you can also import personnel data to the client in batches viaaUSBdisk.Theimportcanbedoneusinganexcelspreadsheetinthecorrectformat.Thedetailedoperationstepsareasfollows:

1. Create importVip directory in a USB disk.

2. Put theexcelfile in the importVipdirectory,pleaserefer to thetemplatefile for theexceltemplate.Notethatexcel2003isusedandcanonlyexistinoneexcelfile.

3.Createanimagesdirectorytostorethepicturesofthepeoplewhichyouneedtoimport.ThepicturenameistheemployeeIDoftheexcelform,andthesupportedformatsarepngandjpg.

4. Insert theUSB into thedeviceonce it iscreated.Fileswillbe importedautomatically.Thecurrenttotalnumberofimportedpeople,successfulpeopleandfailedpeoplewillbedisplayed.

5. Aftertheimportingthefiles,afailedfolderwillbecreatedundertheimportVIPdirectory,and adescriptionofthereasonfortheimportfailurewillbeshown.

(i)Companynameissetbydefault.Itcanbesetthroughthebackground. (ii)Thenumberofpeopleandphotoinformation.Thenumberofpeopleisthetotal numberofpeopleonthedevice.Thepictureisthenumberofrecordsinthefacedatabase.Itchangesautomaticallyaftersynchronizingthedata. (iii)TheMACaddressismacaddressinformationofcurrentdevice. (iv)Theversionnumbershowsthecurrentversionnumberoftheclient. (v)IPaddressisthecurrentIPaddressoftheclient,ifthereisnostaticIPaddressbeing displayed entered then the display is blank and the address will be set dynamically.
