At the 1992 Automechanika trade fair we unveiled a new refinishing technique based on the success we had achieved with our Standofix 2K Compactlack. Since then this technique has continued to help Standox refinishers to reduce their work time considerably by enabling them to carry out refinishing in a single operation.

This technique is as pioneering now as it was then. Over the years we have developed new products to enhance the technique and today we provide unique know-how along with this refinishing process.

The evolution of efficiency.

Standocryl 2K Clearcoat 20-60.Application in a single operation was revolutionised in 1994 when Standocryl 2K Clearcoat 20-60 was launched. From then on the following applied:

• No more fl ash-off time during the application of clears and basecoats.

Standohyd Basecoat.Standox is a pioneer of waterbased refi nishing systems for vehicle repair. When Standohyd was launched, refi nishers were provided with a complete refi nishing system that required just 1.5 spray passes.

2K HS Clearcoat.Standox HS systems were always ahead of their time. Long before VOC legislation, we were focussing on environmentally-friendly topcoats and clearcoats as well as on economy and quality.
