Perspective Drawing
When drawing
using one point
perspective we
only use one
vanishing point
But we can also
draw
perspective
using two
vanishing
points.
This is called
two point
perspective.

Instead of drawing shapes straight on as in One Point
Perspective, we can also draw shapes at an angle using Two
Point Perspective.

When we have shapes that are drawn on the Eye
Level we can neither see the top or the bottom of
the shape.

Task: Draw a cube usingTwo point perspective (follow the
steps)
Eye LevelVP 1 VP 2
Draw the Eye Level and mark the two vanishing points.
Then, draw a vertical line below the eye Level and join the top & bottom with
VP 1 and VP 2.
Drawing a cube usingTwo point perspective
Eye LevelVP 1 VP 2
Estimate the length of the sides of your cube by drawing two vertical lines.

Darken or thicken the lines which form the cube.
Cutting a section out of the cube
Eye LevelVP 1 VP 2
From VP 1 draw two lines.
One line across the top of the cube
and the other across the left side of the cube.
