This basic fee is the starting place for any type of service you select.

BASIC SERVICES OF FUNERAL DIRECTORS, STAFF AND OVERHEAD $2,595.00 Our services include: Conducting the arrangements conference; planning the funeral; consulting with family and clergy; shelter of remains; preparing and filing of necessary notices; obtaining necessary authorizations and permits; coordinating with the cemetery, crematory, or other third parties. In addition, this fee includes a proportionate share of our basic overhead costs (the computed costs of maintenance of the entire funeral home complex, its taxes and insurance coverage, and fixed expenses of building operations). This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials and forwarding or receiving remains).

EMBALMING $495.00 Except in certain cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial or when refrigeration or use of dry ice is available. DIRECT CREMATION FROM $2,645 to $7,590 Our charge for a direct cremation (without ceremony) includes initial transfer of the deceased to our facility, basic services of staff, a proportionate share of overhead costs, necessary authorizations, preparing the body for cremation, and transportation to the crematory. If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition material (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are a cardboard container with a plywood reinforced bottom or a veneered wood composition container with interior, pillow and hinged top.*

FORWARDING OF REMAINS TO ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME $1,395.00 This charge includes removal of remains, basic services of funeral directors and staff, a proportionate share of overhead costs, embalming, necessary authorization and local transportation. This charge does not include any rites or ceremonies. RECEIVING REMAINS FROM ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME $1,495.00 This charge includes basic services of funeral directors and staff, a proportionate share of overhead costs, care of the deceased, local transportation of remains to the funeral home and to the cemetery or crematory. This charge does not include any rites or ceremonies. MEMORIAL SERVICE WHEN FUNERAL HOME HAD NO INVOLVEMENT WITH CARE AND $2,295.00 DISPOSITION OF REMAINS This charge includes coordinating the memorial service arrangements, supervision of the memorial service, display of floral arrangements, photographs and memorabilia as well as staff to assist with the service. IMMEDIATE BURIAL FROM $2,450 to $17,450 Our charge for a direct burial (without ceremony) includes: initial transfer of the deceased to our facility, basic services of funeral directors and staff, a proportionate share of overhead costs, necessary authorizations, preparing the body for burial and transportation to the cemetery. If you choose a funeral service where a rental casket is provided, the casket used for the funeral service may have been used in a previous funeral service. If the casket has been used in a previous funeral ser-vice, the interior lining has either been replaced or thoroughly cleaned.
