MATERIALS Manos del Uruguay WOOL CLASICA (100% wool; ap-prox. 138yds/100g), 1 sk. Shown in #129 Pressed Flower.

US 9/5.5mm needles, 16” circular, or size to obtain gauge Ring marker

GAUGE 14 sts = 4” over Lace Pattern, before blocking

INSTRUCTIONS CO 96 sts. Join, being careful not to twist, and work in Lace Pattern as follows (or follow chart on next page):

Rnds 1 and 3: Purl. Rnds 2, 5, 7, 9, and 11: Knit. Rnds 4, 6, 8, and 10: *K1, k2tog twice, (yo, k1) 3 times, yo, ssk twice; rep from * to end of rnd. Repeat rnds 1 – 11 once more. Rnd 23, 25, and 27: As Rnd 4. Rnds 24, 26, 28, and 30: Knit. Rnds 29, 31, and 40: Purl. Rnds 32, 34, 36, and 38: As Rnd 4. Rnds 33, 35, 37, 39, and 41: Knit. Rnd 42: BO purlwise.

FINISHING Cut yarn and fasten off. Weave in ends. For best appear-ance of pattern stitch, wet-block.
