Start where you need it

You may choose to learn or review whatever chapter you want in any order

but if you are a real beginner, I would suggest you to start from the 1rst chapter (the nouns and genders),

and then to follow the path of the training as it will get more and more difficult.

Time

Every chapter is composed of a different number of screens and exercises, according to the complexity of the rule.

You can check the time you should need by examining the summary of the chapter:

Recommendation :

at least 60 minutes if you are a real beginner, and maybe 30 minutes if you are not a true beginner.

Bilan (test and review) At the end of every chapter you

will find a small test

of your newly learned skills and

on your oral comprehension

You will be hearing dialogues about daily life in Paris, the same type you might hear during your stay in the city.

Bilan

Don’t try to translate it on the first listening, but rather try to concentrate your attention on the general environment (place, speakers…) and some particular words to understand what is it about.

Read the questions carefully before listening for the first time, and let it play another time if you cannot answer

Sorry if you could be lost the first time you listen to it, but I really think it is the best way for you to be well prepared to your next meeting with a French.

Remember, it is a training on the real spoken French in Paris, and additionally you will have the text with another exercises on the next screen

Conclusion

On the screen “conclusion”, you can verify your improvements. The score is only calculated from the “bilan” screens. If your answers in these screens don’t reach 70% each time, you will be asked to review the chapter, and are welcome to start again.
