WE NEED YOUR HELP On behalf of our staff, board and clients let me begin by thanking everyone for their generous donations.

Thanks to our volunteers, we can’t deliver without you.

During the last two years the number of clients we serve has grown by 56%

We are serving twice as many veterans and their spouses as we did last year.

In just one building in Venice we deliver to a dozen clients.

There is Hidden Hunger in affluent communities including Malibu and Pacific Palisades.

Every day patients are released from local hospitals that can’t cook for themselves as they Heal Healthy at Home.

There are many more people in need of our nutritious meal deliveries and daily Wellness Check.

Partners like Providence Saint John’s Health Center, USC LA Veterans Coalition, City of Santa Monica, Edison, Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel, City of Malibu, Subaru Santa Monica, The Fairmont Miramar Hotel, Google, Shutters on the Beach

Hotel, SCAN Health Plan and others recognize the growing need for home-delivered meals and daily Wellness Check.

UNFORTUNATELY THESE GENEROUS DONATIONS STILL DON’T MEET THE GROWING NEED

THIS YEAR WE WILL DELIVER 100,000 MEALS

WE NEED YOUR HELP IN DELIVERING MORE THAN A MEAL TO OUR CLIENTS

PLEASE DONATE NOW Thanks again to everyone who supports our mission and our clients.

“I had kidney disease. Your program was a great help to me at a period of high stress in my life. Thank you so much.”

…. Helen E, Santa Monica client

About 40% of patients don’t know how they will get meals when they are discharged from the hospital.

Our Heal Healthy at Home program provides healing, healthy meals and a daily Wellness Check for patients who need our help for a few weeks or a few years.

MOW West partners include: Providence Saint Johns, UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center, VA West Los Angeles Medical Center, Venice Family Clinics, Marina Del Rey Hospital and Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles.

“Food is one of the main drivers of health. Too often patients are readmitted because of a lack of food which exacerbates underlying conditions.” … Melissa Dimond, Massachusetts General Hospital,
