Come backstage for a brief history of how it all began for Avenged Sevenfold

Avenged Sevenfold used to play metal core, but has recently eased up into playing a more melodic, duel guitar focused, alternative metal sound. They are signed to Warner Brothers and have been together since 1999. Their last two CD’s were titled Nightmare and Avenged Sevenfold (self-titled).

Biography of Synyster Gates

Brian Haner “Synyster Gates” was born on July 7 1981. He is the lead guitarist and backup vocalist in Avenged Sevenfold. He is currently 29 and lives resides in Huntington Beach, California. His father was also a studio guitarist and professional comedian. He also went to college for playing the guitar at GIT.
