OSE is proud to have completed Nagpur – Adilabad Section of NH-7 in the State of Maharashtra for
National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) in 25 months, (five months ahead of schedule) in 2001;
DND Flyway (Noida – Delhi Bridge project) in 25 months,(two months ahead of schedule) in 2001;
Kondhali – Talegaon BOT Project in 18 months, (twelve months ahead of schedule) in 2008; and
four-laning of 176 Kms Nagpur – Betul BOT Project in 33 months (9 months ahead of schedule in
2014). OSE earned bonus for early completion of these projects ahead of schedule.
n During the last 18 years OSE executed more than
7250 lane Kms of National and State Highways in
India and abroad.
n OSE was an active participant in the execution of
National Highways Development Programme
(NHDP) of the Government of India, wherein it
successfully completed 4-laning of 9 Contract
Packages of the “Golden Quadrilateral” and
“North-South-East-West Corridor” funded by
World Bank and Asian Development Bank in the
states of Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra
and Uttar Pradesh totaling 410 Kms in Rigid and
Flexible pavements at a total cost of ` 13,500
million. Though there were several stumbling
blocks, particularly the execution of two projects
in the State of Bihar, all these works were
completed on schedule.
n OSE has successfully completed three World
Bank funded projects covering 197 Kms
of National Highways in Bangladesh during
1994-98.
Major Works Executed
n
largest Greenfield Airport project at LENGPUI
in the mountainous terrain of Mizoram in the
North Eastern State of India in a record time of
24 months in 1998, under the most difficult
working and climatic conditions, involving
intricate logistics.
n OSE has completed five (5) State Highway
projects of 360 Kms length for Public Works
Departments in the States of Gujarat, Karnataka,
Kerala, Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
n OSE has completed one of its kind Formula-1
Motor Race Track and access roads in Greater
Noida, U.P. for Jaypee Sports International Ltd.,
in a record time of 18 months in 2011. This new
OSE has successfully completed one of the generation 5.14 Km long Race Track was
constructed with the latest international
technology and the latest instruments to
monitor quality of construction.
n OSE has successfully completed rigid and flexible
pavement works for a total length of 85 Kms as a
part of six laning of Yamuna Expressway project
for Jaiprakash Associates Ltd., comprising of
rigid and flexible pavement completed in a
record time of 24 months in 2011.
n OSE has successfully completed 250 Kms of
four-laning projects in the States of Tamil Nadu
and Maharashtra for Reliance Utility Engineers
Pvt. Ltd., and Tata Realty & Infrastructure Ltd.,
respectively. Both the projects were completed
within the stipulated period in 2012.

basis with a total investment of ̀ 106.43 billion.
n REWA Bypass project in the State of Madhya
Pradesh for Ministry of Road Transport &
Highways with an investment of ` 0.50 billion
with 50% participation in July, 2007.
n Four-laning of Kondhali – Talegaon section of
NH-6 (50 Kms) in the State of Maharashtra with
an investment of ̀ 3.20 billion, 11 months ahead
of schedule with 50% participation for National
Highways Authority of India in March, 2008.
n Four-laning of Agra – Bharatpur section of
NH-11 (45 Kms.) in the Sates of Uttar Pradesh
and Rajasthan with an investment of ` 2.32
billion, with 51% participation for National
Highways Authority of India in July, 2009.
n Four-laning of Indore – Khalghat section of NH-3
(72 Kms) in the State of Madhya Pradesh with
an investment of ` 7.75 billion with 100%
participation for National Highways Authority of
India in July, 2009.
n Four-laning of 98 Kms of NH-7 including
construction of Kampte – Kanhan and Nagpur
Bypass in the State of Maharashtra with an
investment of ` 18.50 billion with 100%
participation for National Highways Authority of
India in May, 2012.

n Four laning of Biaora – Dewas section of NH-3
from Km 426.000 to Km566.450 in the State of
Madhya Pradeshunder NHDP Phase-IV on
DBFOT basis with a proposed investment of
` 15.83 billion for National Highways Authority
of India.
CURRENT EPC PROJECTS
OSE is presently executing the following EPC
contracts for MoRTH, IL&FS, IRB Infrastructure
Developers Ltd., for a total value of ̀ 34.36 billion.
n Improvement/widening of two-Laning with
paved shoulder of Udaipur – Sabroom section
from Km 55.00 to Km 128.712 of NH-44 under
SARDP (NE) Phase A in the State of Tripura for
Ministry of Road Transport and Highways for a
value of ̀ 4.98 billion.

The Screening Committee of the Project Exports Promotion Council of India, a Government of India agency under the Ministry of Commerce, has granted clearance to OSE to undertake Road, Highway and Airfield Projects internationally, without any financial limit.

From a modest turnover of ` 40,000 in 1971
the company achieved a gross turnover of
` 15.74 billion in the year 2014-15 which is
expected to go up to ̀ 22.50 billion in the year
2017-18. OSE currently owns equipment worth
` 5.00 – 6.50 billion, has more than 3,000 lane
Kms of BOT roads with ` 106 billion of road
assets.

AchievementsORIENTAL
OSE has embarked upon Coal Mining projects with a vision to establish
itself as a Mine Development Operator. Currently OSE has bagged four coal
mining projects from Bharat Coaking Coal Ltd., and Mahanadi Coalfields.
for a total value of ̀ 120.00 billion for extraction of 16.98 million MT of Coal
and removal of 61.55 million CM of over burden.
OSE has experience of laying 355 Kms of Optical Fibre Cables on its own
highway projects and has bagged similar projects worth ` 386.50 million
for a total length of 924 Kms in the State of Rajasthan from
Telecommunication Consultants India Ltd.
In August, 2008 OSE established its mining and quarrying operations by
incorporating Oriental Quarries & Mines Pvt. Ltd. (OQMPL) as its
subsidiary. Subsequently, in April, 2009 a Joint Venture was entered into
between OSE and Ackermans & Van Haaren (AvH), a Belgium based
investment Company, on a share holding of 50:50 basis. OQMPL has
commenced mining and quarrying operations in Rajasthan, Madhya
Pradesh and Tripura by installing three crushing units with an installed
capacity of three million tonnes per annum. It has a target to achieve six
million tonnes per annum by the year 2017. Another crushing unit has
become operational in Karnataka. During the year 2009-10 the crushing
units in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh have produced aggregates of
various sizes amounting to 1.2 million metric tonne and sold 1.30 million in
the market.
AvH is a listed company with Euronext Brussels is active in various sectors
such as Dredging, General Contracting, Real Estate, Financial Services and
Private Equity. AvH has recently become active in exploitation, processing,
distribution and sale of industrial minerals and aggregates.
OSE, through its associate company, SWETA Estates Pvt. Ltd., has
embarked upon the development of large Residential and Commercial
Complexes and Five Star Hotels in the National Capital Region of Delhi
under the brand name of Central Park. It has developed expertise in
construction of high quality mass housing complexes using precast
technology. Tilting tables were used in casting of elements. By 2017 SWETA
Estates Pvt. Ltd., have a target to construct 200,000 high quality mass
housing units per year.
