At the top of the website click on the “Log In”
icon
When the login box comes up put in your name and then the password for your team. If
you do not know the password please email Wendy at [email protected] or
email the webmaster listed under “Contacts”. Once you have entered the information
then hit your enter key or click on “Log In”
The access for this password allows you to:
1. View and edit player information for the team (addresses, phone numbers,
emails, etc.)
2. View the coaches information
3. Add team bulletins that are displayed when a person chooses your team from the
drop down. This is a nice place to put reminders, etc.
4. Add games, practices, events.
5. Add pictures for the team (picture space on the website is very limited so it might
be best to post pictures through the Facebook page). When posting pictures
please remember not to publish player names and to obtain parent’s permission
first.
6. Send emails to the team
Click on the “Teams” button on the horizontal menu bar
Select your team from the drop down. Once the homepage for your teams comes up you
will see the options available.
VIEWING AND EDITING PLAYER INFORMATION
To view the roster or edit a players information. Click on “Roster” on the left hand side.
To edit a player’s information (eg. Update an email address click on the little pencil
symbol to the left of the player’s name.
VIEWING THE COACHES INFORMATION
The coach’s information appears under the Key Contacts on the right.
ADDING TEAM MESSAGES & BULLETINS
To add a message click on “Add Message” just above the “Welcome” box. A free form
area will come up for you to type your message. Put in your name and email if you wish.
You may put in an expiration date if the message is of dated content (eg. Pool party on a
certain date). At the bottom of the screen you do have an option to add a picture. Again
picture space is limited on the website, please limit use of this. If you wish to have the
message emailed out to the team you can click the “Email Broadcast” box. When you are
done click “Submit”
Once you click submit the message will appear on the team homepage.
ADDING GAMES, PRACTICES, EVENTS, ETC.
To add a game, practice or event to the team schedule click on “Schedule” on the left
hand side of the team homepage. Then click on “Add Event”
The event screen then gives you the option of adding a game, a practice, or a general
event. There are several locations that are already in the database to choose from. If you
can’t find an existing location you may add a new one by clicking on “add new location”.
Use the Category drop down to choose either a game or practice, etc. Select your team
from the drop down. You may choose an opponent for a game or leave it as generic. At
the bottom of the screen if you check the notify boxes the system will send email
notification to the appropriate people. When your are done with the data entry click
“Submit”. If you are entering a practice schedule that occurs on the same days and
times each week then use the “Add Recurring Events” option.
SENDING EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS TO THE TEAM
To send an email to the team click on Roster on the left hand side of the team homepage.
Then click on “Send Email” in the right corner.
On the email screen type in your Name and Email and a Subject title for the email. Then
compose the content of the email and when you are ready hit “Submit”. If you have
parents who do not receive the emails please double check that their email is correct
under the player information. If it is then please advise the parents to check their spam
folder and move the email to their inbox. This will cause their email provider to
recognize the league athletics website as a valid email and should direct future emails to
their inbox and not their spam folder.
When you are done please remember to logout of the database.
