Why do kids bully (hurt) each other?

Because I see others doing it.Because it's what you do if you want to hang

out with the right crowd.Because it makes me feel, stronger, smarter,

or better than the person I'm bullying. Because it's one of the best ways to keep

others from bullying me.

What are the negative roles we take on?

 1. Bullies do their bullying in the shadows.

2. The student being bullied might be scared to tell anyone (or may have tried to no avail).

3. Others who see the bullying don’t know what to do.  They are the bystanders.

The good news?  Bystanders aren’t unkind. They are unsure.
