Hyperbranched aliphatic polyesters in coating applications
Specific properties: Highly functional (-OH and -COOH groups)
High end group density
More sphere shaped than linear
Less entanglement
Potential to modify product properties: Adaptable glass transition temperatures
Adaptable polarity (usually more polar)
Highlyfunctional
High end group density
Sphere-shapedstructure
Tunable Tg

Formulation advice
HPE as co-binder: Preferred use in combination with polyacrylates, but also with polyesters, alkydsand others
Recommended concentration: 10 to 30% Basonol HPE on binder
Compatibility should be checked before further testing
Basonol HPE show strongest effect in high solid systems
