ODG follows the Six Sigma philosophy of quality improvement.Sean Manley/Co-Owner of ODG is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt Having a Black Belt on staff allows us to perform our own Six Sigma quality projects. QUALITY PRACTICES & PERFORMANCE METRICScontinued

Client Example Over the last year, which continues today, we have helped one department improve in the following areas:

• Helped 80% of projects to be delivered in agile methodology• Increased in time delivery of projects by 25% • Increased customer satisfaction by 2 points on a scale 1-5• Helped implement QA process across all of project implementation reducing production defect rate by 20%

How did we get there?ODG met with the primary driver of the various projects and then determined where we could add the value. It was determined the key areas we would need to perform were cost, specific skills set, ability to retain talent, speed of delivery. Based on understanding the weight of importance for each KPI we could deliver the positive results.

ON-GOING TRAININGSResources: • ODG’s policy is providing skilled resources that match your needs now. It is our just-in-time practice to

utilize a workforce that matches a specific project need immediately as opposed to obtaining them through expensive hiring and lengthy certification/training processes. This training inevitably adds to the overhead cost of the placement.

• Our emphasis on partnership with our consultants ensures that we have a deep pipeline of senior resources ODG can tap into who are industry leaders within their field. ODG also holds monthly meetings onsite at our office for consultants to come together and discuss industry practices and trends.

Recruiting: • Because procurement of talent is such a large part of what we do, ODG provides ongoing training to its

recruiting team to ensure relevant, effective resources are provided to our clients. Training includes but is not limited to the following areas: recruitment best practices, educational development opportunities and recruiter forums both locally and nationally.

• In the recruitment process we go to great lengths to ensure our candidates have the skill sets you need. We take the time to understand your requirements and find the right candidates. As we screen candidates, we do in-depth reference checks. We validate certifications and education as a start but our recruiters are strategically placed in many technology forums/user groups that can quickly assess a candidate’s reputation with his/her peers.

• Our recruiters have on average, over ten years of experience in this market. They know technology recruiting and they know the Minnesota market.

16

TECHNOLOGY & DATA SECURITY

• ODG utilizes a state of the art recruiting SaaS product.

• We utilize Office 365 and remote exchange management to Microsoft.

• Data is not stored on site which limits exposure.

• All drug and background testing is done online so data is not available onsite which allows limited exposure to sensitive data.

• Document storage is through SharePoint which limits access

COST COLLABORATION• Just In Time recruiting ensures we have resources who are experienced and ready now, verses costly

internal training to get them adequately prepared for your needs. • We have a flat management style (meaning no layers of management that just add cost to a company)

and low overhead.• Owners who are Six Sigma Blackbelt which allows ODG to conduct internal six sigma projects that reduces

waste in the recruiting process leading to faster more accurate results and a lesser recruiting cost. • ODG’s six sigma projects and flat management style are to reduce unnecessary handoffs and increase

decision making power to those closest to the issue.• We are engrained with the local talent, this prevents clients from having to rely on costly out of state

resources which, on average, are significantly more expensive due to relocation costs and/or weekend travel back home.

• We welcome transparency and have the ability to remain agile in how we respond to our clients needs.

Example A: Should you find value in bringing on one of our resources as a perm employee, after a 6 month project, we do not request any buy-out fees. The resources is yours to hire.

Example B: One of our clients was experiencing bankruptcy. We provided them highly skilled resources with our offshore solution. Due to our low costs and high value, the client was able to continue their projects and emerged from bankruptcy. ODG was recognized for their key role in their success.

Example C: ASAP-IT Program with the State of MN. High Value, Low Cost, Quick Turn

MEASURING SUCCESSODG measures success of every project by the satisfaction of our client. We believe in an open dialogue to ensure we are meeting their needs. We work with our clients to find out how they view success and we adjust our processes and KPI’s to ensure these metrics are implemented and are customized to each organization. In the past year we implemented a business intelligence tool that is a bolt on to our CRM so we can track metrics, success and identify and improve areas that need improvement. ODG is willing to assist in formulating KPI’s/Scorcards or if these are already formulated we can incorporate them with our team that will be assigned to Client.

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENTWe provide several lines of oversight with our client to ensure we are on target with our resources performance and achieving client satisfaction. It begins with sending the hiring manager our On-Boarding Form, which can be customized per business unit. This form and process ensures all parties have the same expectations before the project begins. Successful on-boarding leads to a successful project. Our Account Managers conduct biweekly/monthly calls with all hiring managers to ensure progress of placements and projects are on time, on budget and satisfactory. Account Managers, where acceptable and/or requested, also organize onsite meetings for team members and hiring managers. This allows time to discuss projects, progression, issues and needs; this supports a pro-active environment verses a reactive environment. If onsite meetings are not feasible, Account Managers schedule separate meetings to ensure the lines of communication remain open.

Account Managers receive weekly progress reports from our resources regarding utilization, percentage of project completion and any outstanding issues so they can be mitigated immediately. This applies to every department in which we have resources engaged. Our monthly meetings with managers summarize current satisfaction as well as anticipated needs and changes. Moreover, they ensure that managers are aware of our core competencies so we may be as supportive as possible as a partner. Meeting schedules are set at the request of the hiring manager and our Account Managers adjust and accommodate them accordingly.

Clients have dedicated Account Manager(s) for consistency and reliability.

SUMMARYOn-Demand Group encompasses a unique approach to recruiting and partnership and our growth supports this is what the market wants to see. We have grown 20-40% every year and in 2013 we grew 65%. Any organization can talk about how different they are but unless they have significant growth in head count, it’s just talk. ODG’s growth supports that what we are doing is different and that different is good.
