It is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow for B.Tech. B.Pharm. MCA & MBA & is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It is one of the top most colleges of NCR.

It gives us immense pleasure to inform you that Department of Management Studies is conducting a one day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Case Methods: Learning, Writing and Teaching on 17th January, 2018 (Wednesday) at RKGIT Campus. The FDP will be conducted by Expert Resource Persons Prof. Hamendra Kumar Dangi and Prof. Amit Kumar Singh from Delhi School of Economics, Delhi. Under the pedagogy of these experts the FDP aims to enhance the various areas of Teaching –Learning through Case Method such as Case study methodology, Case Development & Case Writing. Incorporating key concepts/topic in case, Ethical & practical dilemmas in writing cases, Multiple means of integrating case teaching into course inclusively

RESOURCE PERSON

Dr. Hamendra K. Dangi did his doctorate from Faculty of Management Studies in Disaster Supply Chain. Dr. Dangi is Gold Medalist in B.Tech. He did his MBA in Marketing from R.A. Podar Institute of Management. He is

a recipient of Maharana Mewar Foundation Award. He also received merit certificate from Ministry of Human Resource Development for securing high rank in Secondary Examination.

Dr Dangi has attended Global Colloquium on participant centered learning at Harvard Business School, Boston, U.S.A. He has published several research papers in International and National Journal of repute. He has also presented paper in International and National Conferences. He is actively engaged in teaching, research, consultancy and projects. He has conducted workshops on Research Methodology and delivered lectures in Workshops. His area of interest includes Quantitative Marketing, Disaster Management.

Dr. Amit Kumar Singh An alumnus of Karori Mal College & Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics is a Gold Medalist in M.Com (2001) from University of Delhi. A recipient of various medals and prizes at the Post-Graduate level, he obtained his M. Phil. Degree

from the Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics in 2004 and has completed his Ph.D from the Delhi School of Economics in 2012. He has a teaching experience of about thirteen years and his area of specialization is Finance and Investment Management and Initial Public offerings (IPOs) market in particular.

He has authored/co-authored three books and has more than eighteen research papers and articles published to his credit. He has also presented papers in various National and International Conferences. He is a life member of Indian Commerce Association and Indian Accounting Association.

This FDP aims to bring out the strengths of case method in teaching, motivate the participants to adopt 'case teaching' as an additional pedagogical tool in delivery of their future courses, equip participants to teach cases more effectively and also expose them to the craft of case writing.

Through this FDP the participants will be able to:

Develop deep admiration of case method in teaching of Management and related sciences.
