PROJECTS HANDLEDAirport workTitle: Kannur International Airport LTD (KIAl)Details: Scope of work includes planning and designing External Water supply, Sewerage system, Storm water (Airside and landside), Internal Plumbing of ancillary buildings.Work details: KIAL is a green field table top airport having requirement of Code E aircraft with international standards. The preliminary design was done for tender preparation and quantities were given for bid. After success of bid the detail design was submitted for all the work which was part of EPC-1 scope.Water supply: The scope includes external water supply design from main water storage tank to the building and other requirements as per EPC-1 scope. The calculation of water demand for airport was done by considering 30 year design life by using fixture unit method and EPANET software was used to calculate pipe diameter and residual pressure. The pipe material with combination of DI and GI was used and final alignment was submitted along with longitudinal profile. The pumping system provided was hydronumatic system as there is combination of direct supply, tap off and tank connection. The total system was designed for flow of 6.7 mld by considering various requirement. The work includes preparation of drawings along with required revisions for GFC submission for client and authority approval.Sewerage design: The scope of sewerage design includes design of sewerage system from connection of outlet points which are in EPC 1 scope up to STP location. The sewage flow estimation was done by considering 85% of water demand and design was done as per CPEHO manual also the drop structures was provided wherever required. The automatic flushing tanks were introduced where there is a self-cleansing velocity constraint. The work includes fixing of alignment, pipe diameter along with longitudinal section preparation with necessary revision to obtain client and authority approval. Storm water design: Design of storm was done in two parts Airside and landside. As the project is green field with hilly terrain having high value of rainfall the scope of storm water design has its own challenges. Airside work includes design of airside drains along the runway and taxiway with design of pipe and grated drain for apron area connecting to OWS. The scope also includes design of burm drain and chute drains where filling height is up to 80m. The design was made as

per FAA standards and changes were incorporated as per comments received from proof consultant as well as from IIT Mumbai. The landside storm water design was done as per IRC codal provisions and standards. Provision and design of pipe drain with inlet design at regular interval, placing of culverts at proper location for safe discharge of water. The design of road side lined and unlined drain for jeepable road was done with obtaining outfall as per site visit with identification of natural stream and low points. For all the storm water design plan and profile was prepared along with typical details and catchment marking plan , with necessary revisions final submission was submitted to client and authority for approval. Title: CMD, Abudhbi Details: scope of work includes preliminary (Bid) design of Storm water for Airside work.Work details: The scope of work includes prilimany design of extension of Defense airport at Abudhabi. The scope specified was only for storm water design for runway and taxiway with all other requirements as per FFA. The design includes catchment marking with airside drain along the runway, pipe and grated drain along with OWS according to the codal specifications.

Title: Airstrip Design at Unnao Lucknow expressway (ULEP)Details: scope of work includes detailed design of Storm water for Airstrip work Work details: The scope of work includes drainage design for proposed Airstrip at ULEP for emergency landing along with parking at both start and end of Airstrip. The project is green field with scope starting from site visit for placing of culverts by identification of low points and natural streams for efficient drainage requirement. The drainage design was done as per FAA standers and as per schedule. The drainage plan and profile along with typical details was submitted for approval.

Title: Design of Naval Enclave at KIALDetails: Scope of work includes detailed design of water supply; Sewerage and Storm water for Proposed Naval Enclave at KIAL. Work details: The scope was to prepare planning and primary design for naval enclave with code B runway, taxiway along with hanger drainage work. Also the proposal for grated and pipe drain along with OWS requirement was submitted. The supply of water to buildings with its sewerage design was also the scope which was coverd.

Industrial Corridor ProjectTitle: Shendra- Bidkin industrial corridor (SBIC)Details: Scope of work includes bid work for SBIC. Work details: The project is under bid for EPC contract having scope of roadside drain, sewerage system, and water supply for SBIC phase-1. Tender design was presented and quantities were calculated for bid purpose. The design and quantity was done as per IRC and other guidelines.

Expressway and Road ProjectTitle: Unnao Lucknow Expressway project (ULEP- PKG-5)Details: Scope of work includes detailed road side drain design for expressway

Work details: ULEP is Greenfield expressway project, the work started from initial site visit for placing of culverts as per availability of natural stream, low points etc. The road side drain for total 63km stretch was submitted along with plan and profile with typical details. The placing of chutes and RWH pits were introduced as per IRC guidelines and schedule requirement.

Title: Delhi Agra Road Project (DARP)Details: Scope of work includes design of 200km pipe drain along the road side Work details: DARP is widening of exiting road with hydraulic scope including median drain design and pipe drain design according to the TCS requirement. The hydraulic calculation for grated type inlets, its spacing and pipe dia. Varying from 900mm to 450mm was designed according to the incoming flow , the same is been submitted for approval with plan and profile and typical details as required. The sewerage design was also done for built up location as per change of scope requirement.

Title: Reva-Katani- Jabalpur (RKJRP) and Jabalpur- lakhandown (JLRP)Details: Scope of work includes hydraulic design of minor and major bridges and review for roadside drainWork details: The scope of the project is hydraulic design of minor and major bridges for RKJRP. The design was started from catchment marking on toposheets, indentifying longest path, deciding rainfall value from Isopuvial maps and fixing cross-section of river for HFL calculation. The same is done for major bridges by using SUH method by following CWC report of 1d and 3c for the bridges in between the total stretch. The afflux calculation, score depth calculation was calculated by guidelines from SP-13 and IRC 5. It manufactures food and vitamins for animals. The industry campus consists of main administrative building, food and vitamin processing shed, temporary shed covered with polythene roofing, parking area, security offices and open spaces. The water supply to the industry is from Sangli-Miraj-Kupwad Corporation. The water requirements of the industry include drinking, boiler feed, washing, sanitation needs and gardening. There are two bore wells in the industry. The survey was carried out by means of total station and Auto level and necessary plan of water harvesting nearly equal to 32.5 lakh liters was submitted to company including AutoCAD drawing, detailed cost estimation, DPR etc. The design includes provision of ground water recharge suggestion along with pop up filters.
