The halfpipe and slopestyle onskis are new Olympic events,
joining moguls, aerials and skicross at the extreme sports
venue in Sochi. Over 10days of competition, 10sets of medals will be
awarded (five mens and five womensevents). Slopestyle and halfpipe skier Devin Logan,shown right, is among a strong U.S. contingent thatincludes some Utah-based athletes. Hannah Kearneyis the reigning gold medalist from the VancouverGames in womens freestyle moguls.
