Does the phrase, "...because that's how we've always done it," make you cringe a little? Do you have a sense some-thing is not quite right in a particular process but can't put your finger on it? Or are you just curious about what lean process innovation is? If you answered "Yes!" to any of these, this is the training for you! This lean process innovation training turns prob-lem-finders into problem-solvers! Through many hands-on activities, attendees will get an introduction to the concept of lean process innovation, they will learn and practice pro-cess mapping, explore a few tools for identifying and elimi-nating waste in a process, and be exposed to techniques for communicating your workload without having to say a word to anyone! LEADERS AS COACH AND MENTOR As people retire and leave, they take an enormous amount of knowledge with them. And capable replacements must be groomed. How do you prepare for both of those issues?

Coaches grow people, help them take greater responsibil-ity, support them in using natural abilities and provide a safety net for them to risk and stretch their abilities.

Mentors provide models for how to move through the sys-tem, improve relationship skills and essentially, how to show up as a professional.

This is your opportunity to address issues affecting you. Bring any topics or situations related to coaching, feed-back, growing your people, letting go and delegating, capturing knowledge and related ideas. We’ll use your experiences to work with the exercises and topics for this training.
