Family-owned company dedicated to olive growing since 1970. We are the 3rd and part of the 4th generation of the Alonso’s family that seeks
the production of quality olives.
Specialized in Cornicabra variety and located in the province of Toledo, cradle of the Cornicabra Olive-tree, our trees enjoy the utmost care and attention, thus obtaining fruits of the highest quality which
help us to produce an unsurpassable Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Since the 3rd generation, all the treatments we carry out in most of our olive groves are certified as organic agriculture, seeking the
balance between production and environmental conservation, thereby obtaining olive oil with natural aromas and preserving the fertility of our soils and ecosystems. In this way, we achieve the maximum
sustainability of our exploitation while avoiding compromising our future generations.
We believe that, by providing the maximum care and attention to our olive trees, we obtain the highest quality fruits, which is the beginning
of a good olive oil.

The Cornicabra olive-tree is the predominant variety of the area where we are located. Its name refers to the curved shape of the fruit, which is
reminiscent of a goat horn.
These trees offer a great yield but the ripening of their fruit is delayed, which lengthens the harvest season. Cornicabra olive groves are
usually plantations placed in traditional settings, leading us to carry out an artisanal olive picking, pampering each olive tree to cause the
least possible damage at harvest time.
At Reino Visigodo we try to achieve the maximum sustainability of our olive groves, trying not to compromise our future generations, and that is why 85% of our farm is organic certified Cornicabra variety. We take advantage of all natural resources and we exclude any chemical
products that may harm the environment, pursuing the balance between production and conservation, therefore obtaining an olive oil with natural aromas and preserving the fertility of our soils and
ecosystems.
Cornicabra oil is recognized as one of the healthiest oils in the world since it has a large percentage of oleic acid and antioxidants, especially
polyphenols, which can prevent cardiovascular diseases, enrich cells by strengthening them in their fight against aging, and lengthen life. Its flavour is fruity, fresh and intense and its aroma transports you to an environment of green leafy fields, with hints of almond or walnut
and fruity notes of apple or avocado, providing the palate with an extraordinary balance between bitter and spicy touches, for which is
perfect to enhance the flavour of salads and toasts or cooking usage on fish or meat.
