“I strive to paint beautiful paintings. I find
beauty in the way the light reflects off the
wooden surface, the way the hair merges with
the background, the contrast of warm and cool
subtleties in the model’s skin, the thickness of
the stroke itself and what I can achieve
with it.”
We are thrilled to have Olga join our staff this
year. Not only does she bring a wealth of skill and
knowledge, but her heritage brings the type of
diversity to La Bonne Etoile that enriches our art,
our life, and our souls. Come
and join us for what will
prove to be a life changing
experience for us all.

Olga Krimon
Olga brings to her workshop superb skills grounded in solid, traditional fundamentals. The students will have an opportunity to focus on all aspects of the painting process—conception, design and execution. With the emphasis on strong composition, form rendering, value decisions and edge control, students will be guided through the technical and conceptual aspects of creating strong still life and figurative paintings. With Olga’s personal approach, each student will move at their own pace through these steps. Whether you need to learn these basics or advance to master techniques, this workshop is for you.
