Can you teach it
and can you learn it?
Music is an act of Spiritual Love…
When a baby is born, he or she is as pure and unconditioned as the
Universe itself. All cosmic energy and natural instinctive ‘knowledge’ of
creation and expansion of life exists in this newborn.
The very essence of life is embedded into the ‘cosmic vibrational
frequencies’ that forms the ‘inner core’ (Soul) of every human being living
on this planet.
And these cosmic vibrational frequencies are the root of inspiration that
creates anything that you see and hear in the visible and audible World.
Whether it is architecture, transportation, culinary, sculptures, paintings or
music.
Whenever an artist performs and it moves you emotionally, the essence
of music is displayed. And it touches you, because the cosmic vibrational
frequencies that are present in the music will find its way to you by
resonating the exact frequency of the cosmic vibrational frequencies
that you are made of.
Consciously, or subconsciously, you recognize these vibrations as the
foundation of your very own existence and immediately you are moved
by the music that is entering your Centre. In fact, you are ’coming home’
to your Authentic Divine Centre of (Life it)Self.
Can this essence of Music be taught or learned?
The essence of Music is the essence of Life itself…
It is impossible to pass on or learn the communicational and ‘emotional’
essence of Music. You cannot teach it. You cannot study it. But only
practice it when the moment is there. It is a Natural Gift of life which
enables you to create by your fine-tuned cosmical instinct from within.
A teacher cannot give you the essence of life that you already possess
within yourself. For example: When you were born, nobody has given you
a manual that says ‘How to Breathe’. You are breathing the ‘Rhythm of
the Cosmos’ naturally and instinctively. The same goes for practicing
music…or any other creative art form.
And it will only come out naturally in ‘Organic Oneness’ when you are in
rapport with your cosmic vibrational frequencies, because these
frequencies form the foundation of your emotional connection to
music…and life itself.
The essence of music comes into bloom when you are in a natural, loose
and purified state of BEING. It will come out with honesty, clarity and
conviction from your inner core (Soul). through your hands and
ultimately into the sounds of the instrument you are playing or your
voice. And dancers use their whole body as an instrument of expression.
The essence of music could be translated into 5 natural dimensions:
1st dimension - Silence
The ‘sound of intention’ before a note is produced and the ‘space’ between
notes
2nd dimension - Breathing
Feel - Expression - Story line using phrasing and Rubato
3rd dimension - Heartbeat
Rhythmic pulsation
4th dimension - Sound
Harmony – Dynamic diversity
5th dimension - Emotion
The susceptibility to Cosmic Vibrational Frequencies in the music
When these 5 dimensions are interacting and come alive all together in a
performance, the ‘Essence of Music’ is communicated to whoever listens
and can possibly evoke an emotional response.
There are so many beautiful musical examples to listen to, and in so many
different genres. However, I would like to present the following clips of some of

‘…Artists seem to get in the way of the Music. Get out of the way of the Music. Don’t write the Music. Let the Music write itself…’
What is going through your mind when dancing?
‘ Not thinking. Thinking is the biggest mistake a dancer could make. You have to FEEL. You become the bass, you become the fanfare, you become the clarinet and the flute and the strings and the drums. You become the physical embodiment of the Music…’
