(This letter was sent directly to your Athletic Trainer, along with a Sports Medicine Brochure) Dear Visiting Teams Athletic Trainers, On behalf of The Ole Miss Health and Sports Performance staff, I would like to welcome you and your team to Oxford, Mississippi. This letter is to make you aware of the Sports Medicine services provided while you are on campus. Upon your arrival we will be sure to make every effort to assist you and make your visit as comfortable as possible. The game will take place in the Tad Smith Coliseum, which is located on Chucky Mullins Drive. A member of our staff will greet you prior to your team’s practice/shoot-around to answer any questions you may have. The Tad Smith Coliseum Athletic Training room will be open two hours prior to the start of the game and will remain open following the conclusion of the game. There will be several services available for your team’s use: • Injury ice, water, Gatorade, hydrocollator, towels, ice bags, drinking cups, biohazard bags/containers, first aid materials, and taping supplies. • Emergency Equipment: (Vacuum Splints, AED, Spine-board). • If needed, modalities are available in the Tad Smith Coliseum Athletic Training Room. I have also attached a brochure outlining important information regarding our athletic training facilities, and important phone numbers of our Health and Sports Performance staff. PLEASE REVIEW THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES FOR MEDIA COVERING OLE MISS WOMEN’S BASKETBALL DURING THE 2014-2015 SEASON.

CAMERA LOCATION: Filming area is on the opposite side of the court as the benches on a big platform behind the fans. This location is in the area of sections J – L (10-11). CREDENTIALS: Please contact Jessica Poole for game credentials. Requests for credentials should be emailed to [email protected] and will be limited to working members of the media. Credentials will be held at the will-call table located on the East side of the Tad Smith Coliseum. Priority will be given to representatives that cover Ole Miss Basketball on a regular basis. Credentials are non-transferable & unauthorized use is strictly prohibited. INTERVIEW POLICY: All interview requests - coaches and players – MUST be made through the Athletics Media Relations office. During the week, head coach Matt Insell and Rebel players will generally be available for interview after practice Monday – Friday unless arranged otherwise. Please email or text your player requests to Jessica Poole by 5 p.m. of the day prior to interviews. There will be no gameday player interviews until after the game. Head coach Matt Insell will be available on gameday (if requested) after the teams shoot around. *All interview sessions (non-gameday) will take place in the media room of the Basketball Practice Facility. Only post game interviews will take place in the coliseum, unless otherwise notified. PRACTICE POLICY: Ole Miss basketball practices are open to the media. Please contact Jessica Poole if you plan on attending practice, at least 24 hours before you plan to attend. The Ole Miss women’s basketball schedule is subject to change, but practice is normally from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. in the Basketball Practice Facility. Please contact Jessica Poole with any questions.

POST GAME INTERVIEWS: Both teams locker rooms are CLOSED to the media following the game, by facility policy. Ole Miss coach Matt Insell will address the media approximately 10 minutes after the game. Selected players will be brought into the interview room following the head coaches. Visiting coach and player interviews will be coordinated through the visiting team’s media relations contact. PARKING: Parking passes are not required for Ole Miss women’s basketball games. Members of the media can use any of the parking areas around the Tad Smith Coliseum. Media members that attend practices, press conferences, and other on-campus events throughout the week should make arrangements with campus parking by visiting olemiss.edu/parking/media.html. PHOTOGRAPHERS: Please contact Jessica Poole for photography credentials. Photographers will be given floor passes and are expected to honor all sideline and baseline access areas. The representative bench areas, behind the bench areas and courtside in front of the scorer’s table, are OFF LIMITS to all photographers. Strobe or flash photography is permitted only with permission from the Ole Miss Athletics Media Relations office. Strobes must be mounted away from the court area.

BUS PARKING Teams may be dropped off right on the North East side of the coliseum at the loading dock. The bus may park in the designated area within that loading dock on the side of the coliseum FACILITY ENTRY/LOCKER ROOM LOCATION The visiting team locker room is located in the northeast tunnel of the Tad Pad coliseum. They will be available for your team 1.5 hours before game VISITING TEAM BENCH AREA The visiting team’s bench is located on the southwest corner of the arena & to access the floor you need to enter using the northeast tunnel. Water, cups, ice and towels are provided. Credentials by visiting team’s non-dress personnel should be worn. PRACTICE/SHOOT AROUND To schedule a practice at our facility, please contact Eric White at 662-832-7656 or [email protected]. VISITOR/GUEST PASS LIST Visiting team Player Guest and Will Call is located on the North West side of the Stadium at the ticket office at the Ole Miss Basketball doors of the Tad Pad Coliseum. A completed pass list (page 13) must be returned to the ticket office or game manager upon arrival to the facility. Everyone on the pass list (16 yrs or older) must have a photo ID present. VIDEOTAPING A videotaping area is available for the visiting team on the opposite side of the court as the team bench. It is located between sections J–L or sections 10-11.
