TITLE VI APPLICATION FOR THE 2020-2023 GRANT CYCLE
The application for Older Americans Act (OAA), Title VI grant funds for 2020-2023 is now available. All
application materials are available on grants.gov and at acl.gov. Completed applications with all required
components are due Wednesday, December 18, 2019.
The following are required components for a completed application:

On August 22, 2019, the Dementia Friendly Pyramid Lake Pesa Sooname Advisory Group hosted the 2019
Nevada Tribal Summit in the Nixon Gym. We had 113 participants sign in and had 14 Tribes represented:
Pyramid Lake, Reno Sparks, Washoe Tribe, Fallon/Stillwater, Ft McDermitt Paiute Shoshone, Duckwater
Shoshone Tribe, Las Vegas/Moapa, Cherokee, Choctaw, Blackfeet and Meskwaki/Omaha. Along with the
tribes represented, we had attendees from various organizations, such as: the Alzheimer’s Association,
UNR Sanford Center on Aging, the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services, State of Nevada
Aging and Disabilities, Intertribal Council of Nevada, Dementia Friendly Pahrump, Neighboring Network
of Northern Nevada, Rural Counties RSVP, Dementia Friendly Nevada, and Yoga for the Special Child.
