You will learn techniques to reign in and control the accidents he will encourage you to make, giving you a fearless, confident approach to your work. This workshop takes its immediacy and excitement and combines it with ink, pastel, charcoal, gesso, gouache and collage to produce a rich vibrant result suited to a great variety of subjects. WORKSHOP CLASS HOURS WORKSHOPS begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at *4:00 p.m. on *Monday thru Thursday,ending at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Lunch is from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. daily. However,classes may take 1.5 hour lunch break, extending class until 4:30 p.m.

WORKSHOP REGISTRATION & PAYMENTTo Register for a course (or courses), complete the registration form and mail it to theaddress indicated. A deposit of $100 per workshop is required at time of registrationin order to reserve your place. *Any deposit(s) received after the class has filled, willbe put on a waiting list. Payment Method: We accept checks, money orders and cashiers checks in U.S $.Payment Billing: Balance must be received 60 days prior to class or you may looseyour space. Registrations 60 days or less prior to class starting must pay in full.

CANCELLATION POLICYOnce your place has been reserved, there will be a nonrefundable cancellationcharge of $100 per workshop prior to 45 days before the event. No refund after 44days prior to the class or once a workshop begins. No-shows and those wholeave early will not receive a refund. We reserve the right to cancel any workshop,in which case we will make a full refund. Art In The Mountains is not responsible forart supplies or travel expenses. We recommend travel insurance to cover lost bag-gage, airline mechanical failures or delays and sickness. If you are in an accidentaround your home or in a car, please seek a workshop expense compensation fromyour insurance company.

*Alvaro Castagnet’s workshop class hours are extended until 4:30 each day, endingon Friday at noon. Students may keep painting on their own. *Mel Stabin’s SantaBarbara workshop will be Tuesday through Saturday.
