NOTICES

Did you know? Take advantage of TikTok’s pa-rental controls The social media site TikTok has exploded in popularity during the coronavirus pandemic, with chil-dren and adults using it to connect and pass time while in quarantine. Unfortunately, apps like TikTok are often targeted by predators as easy ways to get in touch with vul-nerable children. TikTok has “Family Pairing” capabilities, which allow parents to set re-strictions on their children’s us-age. It is also important to have ongoing, open discussions with your children about how they use social media, who they “talk” to and what they share. For more in-formation about TikTok’s parental controls, visit https://lacatholics.org/did-you-know/.

NOTICIAS
