About usSince 1998 Heywood is producing Bespoke Hardwood Flooring for international markets in it’s factory, covering a complete range in both new and reclaimed wood. The Reclaimed Collection Old Dutch Wood, covers unique wooden floor, wall and ceiling concepts for middle- and high-end markets. Produced as a 2-layer engineered ‘Multiplank’ construction on plywood. We offer a range of designs, dimensions and thicknesses, all in natural colours. Our production is carefully customized to meet specific demands. Our high quality, flexible bespoke approach and our reliability, has greatly contributed to our success. International architects and designers of beautiful properties, residential and commercial, are promoting Heywood’s Reclaimed Collection Old Dutch Wood.

Reclaimed Venasque Plank

‘Venasque surface’ is the rough textured outside of both our Reclaimed Wood Classifications: The outside of the 200+ years old wood is classified ‘Century-D Venasque’ in a mix of mostly warm browns and some greys from light to dark with a strong character and stunning natural dark cracks and nail holes and a patina which will not be influenced by UV-light. The outside of the 80 years old wood is classified ‘Lifetime Venasque’ and usually brown/greyish in colour. Our Venasque can be installed untreated and doesn’t require maintenance. The ‘Compiègne surface’ is the smooth, sanded and brushed inside of both wood classifications and more light coloured. ‘Century-D Oak Compiègne’ in a mix of mature golden browns with dark cracks and nail holes. ‘Lifestyle Oak Compiègne’ in mixed medium browns with some dark cracks and holes. The Compiègne surface needs to be oiled and maintained. For our standard specifications look at page 22-23. Please contact us if other sizes are required.
