Alleluia! Christ is risen! He is truly risen! Alleluia! God the Father in his infinite goodness has been faith-ful with his Son: he did not allow the corruption of the grave to reach his flesh blessed. And so it was. The Father raised his Son from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit. Even the Son showed his loyalty to the Father by accepting freely and voluntarily to do his will. Jesus ac-complished his mission. Between the Son and the Father is a perfect communion. And this communion bears fruit: the resurrection of Christ and the resurrection of all who believe in his word and trust in him. Risen Jesus is the fruit of that “vine” which God had planted and cultivated for so long. As a farmer, God had planted a “vineyard”: the People of Israel. It was cared for, watered, protect-ed, defended, by God, but it had not given the result ac-cording to the plan and the will of God. Not only it did not produce good fruit, but the fruit evil prevented were born and grow good fruit. This is the image of our lives. When we cut all ties with God, who is the source of all good and from whom we come, we come to destroy our lives. We think we are the architects of our life, we ex-clude God and his commandments, and then we are left with a handful of ashes, without having built anything. Indeed, we must admit that we have destroyed things and hurt people, especially the weak and the poor. Jesus is right, saying “without me you can do nothing.” Jesus is the true vine that by his fidelity realizes the plan of God. How? He shows us the way. He himself is the way. He voluntarily submitted himself to the will of the Father. His was a journey marked by the cross. Jesus has entered in suffering the quality of love. Love transforms every-thing into good. Death is transformed into resurrection. The “pruning” of life, that is, the suffering accepted for love produce abundant fruit of peace. Persons contrary to the faith - as Saint Paul - have turned into a blessing for the people, by the blood of Christ. And how much suf-fering he had to pass to show the world the love of God, the love that had joined him on the road to Damascus that gave him the strength to give his life until martyrdom. True love passes through the sacrifice of themselves. Love put into practice beyond all reasoning, all idealism, all sentimentality, every empty word. The love of Christ is the only true love. It is the resurrection and the life.Christ is risen! Alleluia!
Una reflexion dominical
¡Aleluya! ¡Cristo ha resucitado! Verdaderamente ha re-sucitado! ¡Aleluya! ¡Aleluya!
