“The Great Chair-ity Event” wrapped up its grand finale Speckled Perch Festival weekend with a lively bright yellow and blue display for all it’s community to see. Hosted by Family Dentistry of Okeechobee along with the help of Everglades Pediatric Dentistry,Wemmer Family Orthodontics, and Tenniswood Dental Associates, these dental offices teamed up to raise awareness for local charities. The event started off with each individual dental office choosing both a favorite local charity and an old chair to re-purpose and eventually raffle in their honor. These choice charities included Real Life Children’s Ranch, March of Dimes, Rylee’s Hope, and Ride For The Fight. Thanks to the efforts of each office, over $3000 was collectively raised and donated to the winning charity. Not only donations were raised, but also awareness of our choice charities, comradery and plenty of teamwork! Family Dentistry of Okeechobee sends a sincere thanks to our community, our team of local dental offices, and our patient body for joining in our event with us. Your support has been tremendous and we look forward to next year’s “Great Chair-ity Event”. www.fdofokeechobee.com.
