OKB Global Information willcreate and provide a world classcloud data center in Belem to boostinnovation and productivity acrossthe Digital economy in Brazil.

When business, universities, individuals and government agenciesadopt cloud services, they are moreproductive, innovate better andoperate with greater agility. As anation, Brazil is well placed to takeadvantage of cloud computing for arange of reasons – including a stablesocio economic system, a strong rule of law and a highly diverse and skilled Information andCommunications Technology (ICT) sector. At the individual level there are few organizationsacross the economy that have implemented innovative cloud computing services. Brazil lagsbehind their counterparts in Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD)countries in the use of online technology. This places these organizations at a competitivedisadvantage, which could be overcome through the use of cloud computing services.

One reason for this has been insufficient access to the necessary infrastructure to supportsophisticated cloud services. The relatively slow download or upload speeds in many parts ofBrazil have limited the adoption of cloud services. OKB Global Information will change this and isa key enabler of the Digital economy more broadly. There are other reasons that cloudcomputing has not been adopted more generally in Brazil, including a lack of awareness of howto make best use of cloud computing and a lack of confidence that some organizations andindividuals have in adopting cloud computing services.

However, as the cloud services market continues to evolve, users and providers of cloudservices must remain responsive to change. Likewise, OKB will continue to adapt its strategy inresponse to market and technological changes.

1. Maximizing the value of cloud computing Goal: OKB Global Information will be a leaderin the use of cloud services to achieve greater efficiency, generate greater value from ICTinvestment, deliver better services and support a more agile public sector.

Key actions:

The Brazilian Internet Steering Committee (CGI.br) will enhance the guidance available togovernment decision makers on how to evaluate the benefits of cloud services and how toprocure and manage them.

OKB and the Brazil Digital Economy will establish information sharing initiatives to facilitatecontinual improvement based on a repository of case studies, reduced risk approaches andpractical lessons to enable agencies to learn from each other. Brazil’s Digital economy iscurrently comprised of about 147,000 companies and is set to generate $490 billion in revenueby the end of 2014, according to a study by Softex Observatory.

Keys to Success

Competitive and flexible pricingChoose a storage solution that fits the

nature of your data, whether it’s StandardStorage or Durable Reduced Availability(DRA) Storage. Like other Cloud Platformservices, you pay just for what you use.

• Scalability. The cloud allowscompanies to make fast and costeffectivecapacity adjustments, scaling up and downdepending upon traffic, seasonality andbusiness need.

• Greater Business Agility. Cloudenables companies to react to shiftingworkplace and staffing demand.

• Flexible pricing structures. Cloudproviders offer customers creative andflexible pricing options, such as tiered allacarte pricing, making it easier to tailorsolutions to a business’s needs and matchvalue.

• Fast time to deployment. Cloudeliminates the need to purchase new systemsand load new applications, or compete withother projects for IT resources, thereby enabling applications to be up and running more quickly.

• Reduced system maintenance and management costs. Cloud requires less maintenanceand management from IT, allowing resources to be reallocated to other projects in the business.

• Lowrisk ability to start up or move or expand. Capacity and applications can be addedwithout risking existing business plans. Additionally, some solution providers offer riskfree trials.

• Flexible staffing can lower operating expenses. Cloud enables companies to be nimblewith staffing plans using different strategies to optimize staff, including using lowercost locationssuch as off shoring or home shoring, but away from corporate, or using athome workers withflexible schedules and ability to work short hours rather than full days.

Company's goal is to dominate our untapped advertising market as follows: We will Provideover 100 Gigabytes Data Storage service for free, obligating our clients to receive advertising ontheir smartphone, tablet, or PC, with the option to eliminate by electing prepaid or fixed paymentoption.

7Industry Analysis

As public cloud computing gains greater adoption across enterprises, there’s an increasedlevel of spending occurring on infrastructurerelated services including InfrastructureasaService(IaaS). Enterprises are prioritizing how to get cloud platforms integrated with legacysystems to make use of the years of data they have accumulated. From legacy EnterpriseResource Planning (ERP) to Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, integratinglegacy systems of record to cloudbased platforms will accelerate through 2016. I’ve seen this inconversations with resellers and enterprise customers, and this trend is also reflected inGartner’s latest report on public cloud computing adoption, Forecast Overview: Public CloudServices, Worldwide, 20112016, 4Q12 Update Published: 8 February 2013.

Global spending on public cloud services is expected to grow 18.6% in 2012 to $110.3B,achieving a CAGR of 17.7% from 2011 through 2016. The total market is expected to grow from$76.9B in 2010 to $210B in 2016. The following is an analysis of the public cloud servicesmarket size and annual growth rates:

8 Project Background

In today’s challenging economic climate, a growing number of organizations require morecapable and flexible IT resources; they also need to reduce costs. OKB will design, develop andimplement a hybrid cloud data centre which is a combination of public and private clouds.Businesses in highly regulated industries (banking, universities and government agencies) withcompliance requirements regarding data residency (“Internet Bill of Rights”) can leverage the

private cloud for those sensitive workloads, while relying on the costeffective hybred cloud fornonregulated operations.

The effects of a deep global recession have combined with recent advances in informationtechnology to create t perfect environment for cloud computing. cloud computing propagandawhose effects have increased dramatically by the combination of an evergrowing businessdependence on cyber space, increasing demands on IT systems and a global demand forbudgetary prudence.

A growing number of cloud service providers are offering customers the potential togenerate sizable, longterm costsavings, increase the capacity, agility and flexibility of their ITsystems, and provide a muchneeded standard IT platform across their business. Their cloudcomputing efforts are being met with considerable success. The hybrid cloud lets business bemore agile. When a company experiences an unexpected spike in usage of an inhouse server, the workload can be passed off to the hybred cloud. This way the company avoids the additionalcost of having to purchase new server hardware. In addition to being agile, the hybrid cloud isalso scalable, which means it’s well suited for businesses with unpredictable peaks.

9 Market Analysis

Cushman & Wakefield Report Takes a Deeper Look at the Brazilian Data CenterMarketPublished Date : 5/6/2014MULTITENANT DATA CENTER MARKET

Currently, there is less than 500,000 SF of operational data center space in Brazil and onlythree U. S.based data center providers in the country: Equinix (who acquired local providerALOG), Level 3 Communications (via its acquisition of Global Crossing) and Verizon (viaTerremark), according to the report.

Key submarkets include São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. São Paulo represents the largestdata center market in South America, accounting for 50 percent of capacity in Brazil –approximately 450,000 operational square feet. Financial institutions, multinational firms, and ecommerce companies drive the demand here. Barueri, located near the stock exchange, is alsoemerging as the new data center centric area.

OKB Global will implement the much needed cloud in Belem being a metropolis with thepopulation of about 7 million people, 50 campuses, 10 000 schools, approximately 12,000business establishments, 32 000 lawyers, 22 industries, 600 vocational courses, 1 internationalairport, 20 large supermarkets, and with the reduction of costs of Internet and data centreservers would be the first step forward for already present future farms. Exports of Brazil nutsand acai, farm raised fish are demanding the emergence of new 20 ports and 18 industrial hubs, and emergence of a new technology center to form a new bloc in the exploitation of railways andmaritime, being strengthened by political favoritism and paving the way through the OKB Globalcloud.

Project Risk Management– Integrated Framework:“Risk is the possibility that an event will occur and adversely affect the achievement of

objectives.”The types of risks (e.g., security, integrity, availability, and performance) are the same with

systems in the cloud as they are with noncloud technology solutions. An organization’s level of

11

Page 12: OKB Global Data Centre Belem Brasil

OKB CLOUD COMPUTING

OKB Cloud Computing Business Plan

risk and risk profile will in most cases change if cloud solutions are adopted (depending on howand for what purpose the cloud solutions are used). This is due to the increase or decrease inlikelihood and impact with respect to the risk events (inherent and residual) associated with theCSP that has been engaged for services.

Some of the typical risks associated with cloud computing are:

Disruptive force

– Facilitating innovation (with increased speed) and the costsavings aspects of cloudcomputing can themselves be viewed as risk events for some organizations. By lowering thebarriers of entry for new competitors, cloud computing could threaten or disrupt some businessmodels, even rendering them obsolete in the future. For example, streaming media over theInternet was a technology solution that significantly reduced the sales of CDs and DVDs and theneed for physical retail stores. Existing competitors that fully embrace the cloud might be able tobring new ideas and innovation into their markets faster. Since cloud computing solutions yieldconsiderable shortterm cost savings due to reduced capital expenditures, an organizationadopting the cloud might be able to extract better margins than its noncloud competitors. Thus, when an industry member adopts cloud solutions, other organizations in the industry could beforced to follow suit and adopt cloud computing. Residing in the same risk ecosystem as theCSP and other tenants of the cloud – When an organization adopts thirdpartymanaged cloudsolutions, new dependency relationships with the CSP are created with respect to legal liability, the risk universe, incident escalation, incident response, and other areas. The actions of the CSPand fellow cloud tenants can impact the organization in various ways. Consider the following:

•Legally, thirdparty cloud service providers and their customer organizations are distinct

enterprises. However, if the CSP neglects or fails in its responsibilities, it could have legal implications

for the CSP’s customer organizations. But if a cloud customer organization fails in itsresponsibilities, it is less likely there would be any legal implications to the CSP.

•Cloud service providers and their customer organizations are likely to have separate

enterprise risk management (ERM) programs to address their respective universe of perceivedrisks. Only in a minority of cases (involving very highdollar contracts) will CSPs attempt tointegrate portions of their ERM programs with those of their customers. The universe of risksconfronting an organization using thirdparty cloud computing is a combination of risks theindividual organization faces along with a subset of the risks that its CSP is facing (discussedfurther in Section 5,“Approaching ERM in the Cloud Computing Paradigm”)

10Analysis of Competitors

At this time OKB has no direct competition. Belem has immense need for the new andimproved OKB Global cloud to deliver fast and reliable Internet, Cell Phone service, data storageand manage all telecommunication networks.
