Ok, now you have sent an email to hokukirkpatrick@gmail.com and CC yourself.

Now we are going to send an email with an attachment!

Click the compose mail buttonto start.

You should have one email address from HOKU with attachments. View those attachments.

Put Hoku’s email addressin the to box.

Also to make sure it sends correctly, put your email address in the cc: box

Then press the Browse button

A second window will appear to let youchoose a file or a picture to send as anattachment.

Click a picture that you wish to send and then click open.

In the attachments box you will seea path to the file/picture you selected.

You can add more pictures or filesif you want by pressing the attachmore files button.

When you are done press the send button

If it worked it there shouldbe a copy in your inbox.

Click on the email to see the picture or file.

It worked! now you can send pictures with your emails!!!

Another important thing you might want to send with anEmail is a resume. We will do that in our next lesson.

At this point you can set Your interests and a theme

After you choose 1 interestAnd 1 theme, pick a countryAnd a zip code.

Then press the “See your page” button

Gadgets are programs youcan run from your igoogle page.

There are several defualt gadgets already on your new igoogle page, but you can change, delete, and add more gadgets by searching…

Press this button to add stuff!

For this example I choose to search for Micronesia

These are the two results:

The first is a news gadget That deals with Micronesian news

The second is a picture gadget

Let’s add both to our new igooglepage.

Click the “Add it now” button

The buttons turn yellow to show That you have added the gadget.

Then click back to igoogle home

Here is what it should look like

These are the two gadgets we just added… opps! The gadgetsare broken, don’t worry we can just delete the gadgets and tryagain!

Press the down arrow button at the topright of each gadget box.

A context menu will pop upclick the “delete this gadget”button.

Do this for the other gadgetthat is broken.

Back to the way it started!

You can also move the gadgets around the igoogle page by dragging the title bar of each gadget.

Title BarClick (left mouse) and drag the gadgetto another spot on your igoogle page.

Gadget is in different spot now!
