This is an environmentally-friendly technology in comparison with the methods used by many other suppliers, which use SF6 as an insulation and arc quenching gas. SF6 is on the list of greenhouse gases in the Kyoto protocol and is the most potent of the six main greenhouse gases with a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of 23,900. Therefore the Eaton medium voltage range without SF6 is a sustainable and economically viable alternative for SF6-filled switchgear. Power Xpert® FMX 12 - 24 kV IEC fixed medium voltage switchgear up to 2000 A

FMX is a compact metal-enclosed IEC medium-voltage switchgear system with single busbar and solid- and air insulation with fixed vacuum interrupters. The system includes a new electromagnetic mechanism for circuit-breaker control, an integrated cable test facility outside of the high voltage compartment and features exceptionally compact construction. FMX uses Eaton’s proven vacuum interrupters, which require no maintenance.

Power Xpert® CX Low Voltage Motor Control and Distribution up to 4000 A, 480 V

The new Power Xpert® CX is an IEC low voltage switchboard range with functionality for motor control and power distribution up to 4000 A. The CX provided motor control in form 3b and 4b complying with IEC 61439-1.Uptime is maximized with the withdrawable drawers able to be exchanged without having to disconnect power and/or control cabling. CX is a compact, ergonomic and flexible system.

Xiria 3,6 – 24 kV ring main units and medium voltage connection for energy distribution

New generation of SF6-free Ring Main Unit switchgear with vacuum circuit-breakers or load-break switches. The modern switchgear system combines the highest levels of reliability and operating safety for all applications up to 24 kV. At the same time, it is significantly more compact than comparable systems. Xiria is very easy to use in an automated distribution network.

Arc-resistant AMPGARD® SC 9000 medium voltage variable frequency

ARCON arc-fault protection system – the robust airbagfor switchgear systems

The extremely reliable arc-fault protection system ARCON from Eaton is used very successfully in low-voltage switchgear systems worldwide. The arc fault is not just detected, it is also “reliably” quenched at such speed to ensure there is no damage. Capitole 40 Motor Control Centers and distribution up to 6300 A

Capitole 40 is a switchgear and control gear assembly up to 6300 A / 690 V having a full range of fixed, plug-in and withdrawable functional units, which comprise feeders, bus couplers, motor starters and distribution feeders. Capitole 40 provides motor control in internal separation form 4a and 4b and IP41 complying with IEC 61439-1. The standardised, modular Capitole 40 systems offer optimum operational reliability, personal safety, flexibility and economy.

Clink II Integrated Motor Control System

Clink system provides plant managers with comprehensive data and opportunities to further optimize plant performance, efficiency and productivity. Clink is a microprocessor-based automation system with individual control units for each motor and feeder circuit within a Capitole 40 switchboard.
