ToolkitThis toolkit guides Senate Bill 558 outreach and enrollment grantees in promoting the OHP now covers me! campaign. The goals of this statewide outreach campaign are to: 1) inform the public that OHP is now open to more children and teens younger than 19, regardless of immigration status, and 2) connect newly eligible children and teens to OHP enrollment.
This toolkit includes the OHP now covers me! campaign core message frame components, branded materials, drop in articles, PSA templates, and website and social media content.
Use this toolkit to consistently communicate with the target audience and public about OHP and the OHP now covers me! campaign.

English: Now more immigrant youth in Oregon qualify for free health coverage under the Oregon Health Plan!
Starting January 1, 2018, the Oregon Health Plan (OHP) is available to more children and teens younger than 19, regardless of immigration status. This includes youth with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and those previously only eligible for emergency Medicaid (i.e. CAWEM) in Oregon. All other OHP eligibility criteria for those younger than 19, such as household income, remain the same.
There are trusted OHP-certified community partners across the state that can help children, teens and their families with the application and enrollment process. Their help is free. To find a local OHP-certified community partner in your area, visit www.OHPnowCOVERSme.org or call 1-800-699-9075.
