Our Instructor: Lonnie C. Edwards, MD, MPA, FRC Dr. Edwards has been a member of AMORC for over

50 years and has served as Master of Nefertiti Lodge, In-spector General, Regional Monitor, Grand Councilor, and presently serves as Vice President of the Board of Direc-tors for the English Speaking Grand Lodge. He is well known throughout the U.S.A. and Canada for his work-shops on interpersonal relationships and the relationship with Self, the Universe and God, and the Esoteric Aspects of Hu-man Behavior and Development.

Dr. Edwards is currently re-tired from the medical profession. One of his latest publications is Spiritual Laws That Govern Hu-manity and the Universe.

Special Communication from the Imperator

Dear Fratres and Sorores, Under the auspices of the Rose-Cross, Salutem Punctis Tri-anguli!

Following the Supreme Board Meeting, I am writing to you today to inform you about a new decision regarding our Order.

As you are no doubt aware, our rules are currently so that you should have reached the First Temple Degree to attend a Chapter or a Lodge, and until then, you may attend a Pronaos.

However, it was noted in all Jurisdictions that Pronaoi cannot be found in every region or area. Of course, some Chapters and Lodges do sponsor a Pronaos of Chapter or a Pronaos of Lodge. But experience has shown that they are rather seldom properly run.

As things stand now, some members live in areas where there is no Pronaos, whether self-standing or sponsored by a Chapter or a Lodge, but where there is a Chapter or a Lodge only.

Those members have to wait nearly two years to attend that Chapter or Lodge.

For many of them, this means waiting for too long and it discourages them from attending an Affiliated Body and sometimes even from going on with their membership in the Order itself.

This is why from now on a member will be allowed to attend a Chapter or a Lodge as soon as you have reached the First Atrium Degree.

Until then, and as is already the rule, you may attend a Pronaos as soon as you have received your membership card.

The Grand Masters, like me, believe that this decision will make it easier for a new member to attend an Affiliated Body.

It goes into effect now in the areas where there is no Pronaos of any kind. As regard the currently active Pronaoi of Chapters or of Lodges, they can

go on with their activities until the next New Year, in March 2014. I am certain that, whether long-time members or more recent members,

all of you will understand the reason for this change. With warmest wishes for a good continuation on the Rosicrucian Path,

Ohio Mentor Program While a Rosicrucian student can certainly get a lot of good from his or her home studies, there are times when every

student wishes for another Rosicrucian to talk to. This is the basic need that the Ohio Mentor Program is meant to ad-dress. This program matches AMORC students with senior Rosicrucians for discussion of Rosicrucian studies by tele-phone or e-mail. There is no charge for this privilege, and all degrees are offered, from early studies up through the higher planes.
