DESCRIPTION

I founded Kno.e.sis with several Comp Sc faculty colleagues with synergy, when I moved to Wright State Univ in 2007 as the LexisNexis Ohio Eminent Scholar with 10 of my PhD students. In 2009, Ohio Board of Regents conducted a state-wide competition to select Centers of Excellence (COEs) for which we were nominated by our university. The Governor announced in January that we were selected as one of the COE for BioHealth Innovation Kno.e.sis became a highly multidisciplinary center with 15 faculty members from four colleges with strengths in Computer Science, Biomedicine, Clinical Practice and Cognitive Sciences.
