Terms & Conditions

NSPCL input/Facilities:1.All the spares required (New / refurbished).2.All types of welding/cutting electrodes, lubrications, consumable like diesel, thinner, sealant, Gaskets, nuts, bolts,emery paper, cotton waste, marking cloth, grinding, paste anti seize compound etc., required foroverhauling/maintenance of equipment's.3.Any special purpose tools fixtures as available with NSPCL Electricity, water & compressed air.4.EOT crane, trolley, fork-lifter facility as existing at NSPCL

BHEL INPUT:1.The rates quoted by the Bidder shall be inclusive of but not limited to providing following inputs at no extra cost forsuccessful completion of the work.2.Safety appliances and protective equipment's for workmen including for those supply under manpower assistance.3.Welding Machines, Grinding Machines (Portable), Drilling Machine (Portable) and other general portable tools (Powerdriven) with accessories.4.All general tools ( up to size 4"or 95 mm) for assembly/dismantling of nuts and bolts like single ended open jawspanners, adjustable wrench, double ended open jaw spanners, single ended ring spanners, double ended ringspanner, slugging wrench, cranked double ended ring spanners, socket wrench single end 90 deg offset, pin wrench,hexagonal keys for socket head screws , Screw drivers, Hacksaw frame etc. including lifting tackles slings, D-shackles,Pulleys, Pulling and Lifting Machines, (Chain Pulley Blocks up to 5MT capacity) along with accessories.5.hand lamps of 24/230 Volts with Cables, for proper illumination of work area.4 MM (2,3,4 Core) Flexible electric cablefor portable hand lamps of 24/230 Volt & Flood lamp.d.Welding cables, Holder and other accessories.e.Grinding wheels, Cut-Off Wheels, Drill bits.f.Gas cutting set (DA & Oxygen) along with hose regulator cutting torch etc.6.The contractor has to deploy minimum 2 separate groups to take up on round the clock basis. The contractor has toengage sufficient manpower for timely completion of the work with all Safety precaution for men and machine duringthat time without any extra cost.7.In case of site requirement experts from parent unit may be arranged by BHEL at no extra costs.8.All materials issued by NSPCL shall be handled carefully and shall be returned immediately after completion of work.9.After completion of work the work place shall be cleaned to the satisfaction of engineer-in-Charge without any extracost. Contractor should arrange for transportation of metallic and non-metallic scrap generated out of TG COH work,from site to scrap yard.10.The T&P issued by NSPCL if lost/damaged, shall be made good by the party or cost of T&P along with overheadshall be recovered from the party as decided by engineer-in-charge.11.Electricity, compressed air shall be provided by NSPCL at fixed points as available in the plant, on free of cost basis.However, wire cables, extension boards, hand lamps, air hose, water hose etc. with suitable connector, are to be

arranged by the Contractor.12.Handling of material such as spares, machinery parts, T&P consumable etc. Within NSPCL premises shall have tobe done by the contractor without extra cost.13.Special pullers and other fixtures if required for the job are to be fabricated by the contractor at free of cost for whichmaterial shall be provided by NSPCL. Contractor has to build up materials by welding on worn out componentsdismantled from equipment under maintenance.14.The contractor has to stand guarantee for the workmanship of the job carried out by him in Accordance to thespecifications stipulated in the contract and as per the decision of the engineer-in-charge of the work as per defectliability period.15.The work is to be executed in NSPCL project area, PP-II, BSP, Bhilai, Distt: Durg (CHHATTISGARH).16.The contractor shall arrange to obtain valid gate passes for his men and equipment's from the concerned authorities.17.No man/material/equipment not covered by valid gate pass shall be permitted within the power station area. Thecontractor shall be held fully responsible for any delays/losses/damages that may result consequent upon any lapses onthe part of his employees in this regard.18.In the prescribed areas of power station no hot work such as welding, gas cutting etc. which may cause fire hazardsshall be carried out unless valid gas safety/fire permit is obtained from the engineer-in-charge and necessaryprecautions are taken to avoid any risk of fire hazards.19.The contractor shall authorize one of his representatives to act as overall SITE IN CHARGE for this contract. Thesite In-charge shall co-ordinate all activities to ensure satisfactory working. In addition to his normal duties, he shallreceive and abide by all instructions given by the Engineer-in-charge or his representative for SMOOTH, SAFE andSATISFACTORY execution of work.20.The materials are to be collected by the contractor from NSPCL stores or FIELD / SITE STORES as the case maybe. The collection / transportation of materials to site to be carried out by the contractor. The contractor has to return allunused / partially used / items to NSPCL store/field store/as decided by Engineer in charge within two days ofcompletion of work.21.Insulation removed from the workplace to be cleaned by the contractor from workplace on day to-day basis to alocation identified by Engineer in charge. On the day of work site should be free from all the scrap to the satisfaction ofEIC. On completion of work, the contractor shall return the T&P ISSUED BY NSPCL in satisfactory working condition.22.The descriptions given in the scope of work are only the broad outline of the job. Contractor shall have to perform allassociated jobs, which may be considered necessary for the purpose of successful completion of jobs covered in thescope of work without any additional financial implication. Decision of Engineer In Charge shall be final & binding in thisregard.23.BHEL has to submit the detailed overhauling report with in one week after synchronization.24.contractor has to supply one crane operator round the clock at the site.25. contractor has to submit valid TEST Certificate of Lifting tools.

Accommodation:Shall be provided by NSPCL for BHEL Engineers free of cost.

Security Deposit:Nil.

TDS:To be recovered as per rules.

Contract Agreement & CPG: Waived off.

Compensation for Delay: In case the work is delayed in part or in full as per above time schedule, the compensation for

delay will be payable by you in accordance with the provision of NSPCL General Conditions of Contract.

Safety Clause:You will compulsorily provide personal protective equipments to your employees and in the event of non providing thesame by the date specified in the contract, it may be provided by NSPCL at Contractors risk and cost.

Except for Specific additions/modifications brought out in this award letter, the afore-said work shall be done as broughtout in various clauses of the award letter and enclosures, as per the provisions of General Conditions of the Contract(O&M/Civil/Misc.Work), Permeable to Bill of Quantity, Observance of Labour Laws including ESI and ContractorsLiability, Quality Assurance & its management, Updated safety rules, as per the documents enclosed and as perdirection of the Engineer-In-Charge.
