CThis page shows the direction the favourite thumbnails for the EYE DESIGNS, have taken me. I chose to incorporate24,29 and 30 to create the best design possible, taking into account the proportions, the spacing and the overallcharacteristics of the optics millipedes eye.

    24

    was used as the

    base idea for how the

eye is built up using the

    optics of the eye, 29

    gave me the idea of

    segmentation, kind of

    like treating the iris and

pupil as if it were an

    orange.30

    Gave to me

    the feeling of closeness

    towards the remainder

    of the human eye and

how it would to used to

    sprout its hybridised

    form. The next page

    is the outcome and

    what Id like to use

    on the finalised

    creature.

This is the end design for the hybridized eye. 2.

These are the favourite thumbnails for my humanoid head and face. I chose these three because of

the depth of character they held due to their interesting adaptations, as with the eye designs, I chose

to incorporate the best parts of 9,10 and 11 to create what was suitable for my hybrid.

    9 is the base

    idea of which I

    add aspects of

    the other two, 9

    in general is the

    most human

    and that needs

    to be kept

    because my

    right eye is

    going to remainhuman, also.

    10 gives me

    the broadness I

    need for the jaw

    and the antenna

    shape whereas

    11 gives me

    the antenna

    positioning andbetter jaw

    construct.

This is the humanoid head and face I shall use on for my hybrid,

includes the human eye as well as the millipede eye.

    variation, two.

    Note: The Photoshop designs were

    created before the centred design,

other digital paintings will follow in

    its footsteps.

5 I felt was my only viable thumbnail as well as the

    aesthetics design of 23.

    5 is basically

    making use of

    the strength,

    flexibility and

    durability of

    the Millipedes

    body

    structure.

    Linking with

    the arms and

    shoulders (The

    exoskeletonalso morphs

    around the

    upper back).

    23 implies the

    use of hybrid

    based

    blemishes that

    latch out from

    the limbs andonto the body.

    The end result

    is as follows.

    5.

The refined and chosen idea, Ill use for the end

    design.

Note: The Ollie-esqueproperties have taken placein this design; I am left-handed so my left arm ispredominantly better thanthe right.

These are the lower body and leg designs. This in the final part to my carefully set, millipede

jigsaw, and the image below is comprised of the favourite thumbnail sketches which I found fit

to amalgamate into the end design like the previous pieces of segments.

4, one of my very first

ideas and one Im proud of

    due to its biological

    enthusiasm, the Minotaur

    stylisation really relates

and feels at home with the

    hybridisation as a whole.

    40 is the sleek adaptation

    of 4, minus the all

    important legs, 39 is the

    most controversial

    because my theory is that

when the millipede wasspliced with myself,

    dormant ancestral genes

    from its pre-historic

    cousin are activated,

    creating the flatter and

    more jagged exoskeleton.

    39 is down to evolutionary

    understanding, when a

    creature evolves, it usually

does so in order to protect

    itself, reducing the risk of

being killed basically, theunderbelly shall be

    protected by overlaps of

    exoskeleton,protruding

    towards to front. The next

    consists of the final key

    piece to the Ollie +

    Millipede, hybrid.

    The combination of these segments

shall be concluded as a whole once

the structure and the more scientific

approach to this design is made and

calculated. By this I mean the linking

of the skeletal frame, both internal and

external. If any changes are made it ll

be due to reinforcement but Im pretty

certain that the design right now isstructurally sound, I love physics so I

that is a part Im sure Ill get right as I

progress, thank you and I hope you

enjoy this review and found it a useful

insight into the building of the

    Olliepede.
