    As you know, the University does not comment on pending litigation or personnel matters.

    However, we are happy to discuss our demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion

    and our ongoing dedication to the professional advancement of women.

    For example, you might be interested to know that the 53 percent of the Universitys facultyand staff is female. Also, of the 42 positions filled during the current presidents term, 50

    percent were females, including nine directors or executive directors. Additionally, five females

    were promoted to higher level leadership positions including, associate provost, and the

    Assistant Dean of Arts and Sciences, (the largest college at the University). This represents 63

    percent of the promotions in the past two years.

    In addition, 40 percent of the Universitys full-time faculty is female and 66 percent of the

    deans and assistant deans are female. The Universitys student body is 68 percent female and

    32 percent male.

    Separately, in the last 90 days, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has

    given the University a favorable response for an allegation of race discrimination from a

    Caucasian female employee.

    The Universitys Board of Regents is comprised of six members, four are female.

    Other facts that you may find interesting. The University has:

    * Increased overall enrollment by 8.6 percent, the largest increase among all public universities

    in the state of Missouri and the first enrollment increase for Harris-Stowe in six years

    * Experienced a 24.4 enrollment increase in the new student population in Fall 2015

    * Increased applications by 250 percent in Fall 2015 compared to Fall 2014

    * Established the LGBTQIA Alliance, a student affinity organization

    * Increased degrees by 36 percent and total academic offerings by 126 percent in one year

    * Gained approval from the Coordinating Board of Higher Education for the institutions first

    Master degree programs in the history of the institution
