Dear Brethren,

Freedom from Fear

Fear develops from being unprepared; hence preparation is the key to avoiding fear. Robert Kiyosakiin his book "Rich Dad Poor Dad" explains how to invest and fail successfully. He claims, "nine out of ten" businesses fail their first year, and that's ok! It is your mental attitude that really matters. He says you should be willing to fail nine times and learn from each encounter to be successful on your tenth try. Needless to say, this example goes with everything in life.

We are building a temple in the lodge; it'll take lots of time and effort to perfect it. We can't fear change or worry about what others will think. The key is to do what you think will work, whatever you feel is right in your heart.

While embarking on a new task, we will encounter many issues and this is when I remind myself of this quote: "And why do we fall? So we can learn to pick ourselves up." (Batman Begins, 2005) Not only is this applicable to our everyday lives but also something we need to remember when dealing with the craft.

To avoid some of our failures, we need to remember to start the day off right. Look at the picture in the Trestle Board (How to start the Day) and read it every morning, it'll assist you to become more successful and prepared in life.

Always remember, life is like a rollercoaster. There are highs and lows, but without the lows, you'll never appreciate the highs. So just keep a positive attitude, no matter how low you get in life eventually everything will work itself out.
