Center for Teaching Quality • Spring 2009 - Pilot survey of ~2,000
teachers• Spring 2009 – Development of potential
item pool (>700 items)• July/August 2009 – Cognitive pre-testing in
the state of Washington

• Fall 2009 – Completion of a 2-tiered Teaching Survey questionnaire
• Winter/Spring 2010 – 35,868 teachers completed revised 2-tiered questionnaires
• Summer 2010 - Analysis of TS instrument psychometric properties, including scale norms, reliabilities, and factor analyses

• Summer 2011 - Analysis of Learning Survey instrument psychometric properties, including scale norms, reliabilities, and factor analyses – Finalization of survey instrument – Introduction of Learning/Teaching Dashboard14
