The Local Education Agency (LEA) Board policy on
parental involvement, for any district receiving Title I Funds, must include all the
required components of Section 1118 of the
Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA).

reflects the Board Policy.

The school must convene an annual parent meeting to explain requirements and solicit participation.
Annually, in elementary schools, the parent compact must be discussed during parent teacher conferences.
