Our Parish Bulletin

Please remember the generous sponsors who make

our bulletin possible and patronize them during the

holiday season and beyond! Thank you!

Did you know that our parish has an online giving

program? The system is easy to use and may be

accessed via our website, saintmaryscatholic.org. The

online giving system utilizes “Stripe” a payment processing

interface used by thousands of businesses including Google,

Amazon, Target, National Geographic, and more! The

interface links with our online parish database, so gifts made

to the parish may be tracked on your online account. Gifts

may be made one time only or set up on a schedule you find

convenient for your lifestyle. For questions, please call the

parish office at 413-743-2110.

Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God

Why do Catholics honor Mary as Mother of God?

Simple: Jesus is the son of Mary. Jesus is God.

Therefore, Mary is the Mother of God.

On this holy feast day, we take a moment as we start our new

year to honor our Blessed Mother, who in her “yes” to God

brought our Savior into the world to redeem us.

Lost & Found Tip: Jesus says on the cross, “Behold your

Mother.” As we all jump into the frenzy of the new year and

start attempting to bring our resolutions to fruition, let us call

on the aid of our Mother Mary to give us the strength to

draw closer to her Son every day this year.

News and Updates Box Tops for Education

Over the next few years, Box Tops for Education will

move to a digital format and the physical Box Tops

will be phased out. The new process is actually quite

simple. Download the Box Tops for Education App and

sign up with St. Stanislaus as your school. When you

purchase a Box Tops item, go to the app and scan your

receipt. Eligible products are clearly marked but you may

scan any receipt for eligible products if you are unsure.

Currently, we are still accepting clipped Box Tops for St.

Stan’s School, so please keep bringing them in! All

physical Box Tops will still be accepted as long as they

aren’t expired. During the transition, the school can even

“double dip” (scan & clip)!

Please download the app and give it a try! Thank you in

advance for supporting our local Catholic School and the

students from our Catholic community!

March for L ife The 47th annual March for Life in Washington D.C. will

unborn children. We are accepting early reservations, by

Catholic Life Conference This spring, the Springfield Diocese is hosting something

new - a conference for men, women, and children all

together - the Catholic Life Conference - and you are

invited to go. We invite you to be part of something BIG

and to dig deeper into the beauty of the Catholic Church.

You could choose ANY faith and here you are - you’re a

Catholic. This conference is posing the question,

“WHY?” - “Why are you a Catholic?”

We are inviting you to join us on March 21, 2020 for the

first annual Catholic Life Conference in our diocese, to

renew and refresh you! WHY: Why YOU are here when

so many have left our church; Why YOU are here when

for centuries fear and anger have sought to bring down

this beautiful faith; Why YOU are still here. YOU are the

soldier in a world completely against the true faith and

YOU feel it is important enough to be here when you

could be somewhere else.

If you have felt abandoned, alone, ostracized, confused,

or complacent in your faith journey either by the world,

your family, or fellow Catholics, this conference is for

YOU! If you are on fire for the Lord and love every

single aspect of the Church, this conference is for YOU!

If you are a little of both, this conference is for YOU!
