Prayer Network Often we want others to help us pray for the needs in
our lives, but how do we spread the word? If you have
a special request you would like to have people pray for,
or if you have questions about the network, please
contact Lori DiLego at 499-0065.
* * * * *Our Annual Auction* * * * * The bidding auction is a huge part of our annual bazaar.
A few weeks ago, letters were mailed to over 200 local
businesses requesting donations for our auction. We have
only received interest from a few people to visit these
businesses and follow up to our letter in order to secure
donations. We need your help to make this a success,
so please reach out to us right away in order to lend
a hand. Every little bit of help makes a difference!
Photo Memorial During the month of November in the St. Mary’s
main church, we feature a memorial to loved ones we
have lost. A display of photographs is set up in front of
the altar for All Souls Day Mass, which will be held at 7:00
p.m. on Friday, November 2nd. Everyone is invited to
attend this beautiful Mass in honor of those who have
gone before us. Families who have lost a loved one during
the past year are especially encouraged to attend. Anyone
wishing to have a photograph of a loved one
displayed for this Mass and throughout the month of
November, should plan to drop off photographs
during the month of October no later than October
24th. Please include a note containing your name and
phone number along with the name(s) of the person/
people in the photograph(s). We will be creating a
display that includes labels of who is in each
photograph. Everyone is welcome to display photos!
There is also an annual display of photographs at
North American Martyrs Chapel, which runs from All
Souls Day through Thanksgiving. Those wishing to
display photographs at NAM may bring them to
Saturday evening Masses during October in order to be
set up in time for November.
Family Movie Night We will be holding a free family movie night on
Friday, December 14th at 7:00 p.m. in the parish hall.
We will be showing “The Star”, a family friendly Sony
Pictures movie about the First Christmas. Students from
our upper level Faith Formation classes will be helping.
Popcorn and refreshments will be served. The event is free
and open to everyone, so be sure to bring your friends!
“ L et ’ s Have a Tea ! ” The Adams Suffrage Centennial Celebration
Committee (ASCCC) presents, “Let’s Have a Tea!”,
to be held on Sunday, October 21st at 2:30 p.m. at the
Red Carpet Restaurant located at 69 Park St. in
Adams. Carol Crossed, the President of the Board of
Directors for the Susan B. Anthony Museum, will be
speaking at the event. The donation per person is $25.
St. Agnes Cash Calendars
This month, one of our parishioners who is a student
at St. Agnes Academy in Dalton, will be selling cash
calendars in the parish hall. The cash calendar sale is
the only fundraiser the academy holds all year and is
crucial to ensure funding for enrichment activities for the
students. Thank you in advance for your support!
Coffee Hour ! ! ! Join us on Sunday mornings after Mass for coffee
and social hour! We will be running the “coffee
shop” during Faith Formation classes
starting this Sunday on the stage in the
parish hall. Everyone is welcome, so bring
a friend! This is a great time to connect
and converse. Hope to see you there!
